Outdoor Crow's GG at 56ºN

Went to the railway tonight after sunset. Enough light to see by, but taking photos was nearly impossible. All the girls are doing just great, I'm really pleased. I was glad I avoided certain bits of the line, because there were signs that folk had been under bridge arches recently, and there was fresh graffiti on a wall further along, I could smell the spray paint. No signs any of the plants have been disturbed, which is a relief. I gave them all a feed of liquid seaweed, otherwise there was no need of water after last night's rain.

Managed to snap a couple of shots of the Short Term Amnesia, which is good because they're doing well. The RK62 are looking great too, one has stayed very small but the other three have bushed out a bit. Originally I was going to splay them out with some LST, but now they're in full flower I'll leave them be.

Of the other girls, some have got pretty tall, while others don't seem to have stretched at all. The Fast Serious 6 Glue is the tallest, looks to be nearly a metre high. Next are the Mandarin Panties Auto and the Nightmare, both around 70cm or a bit more. All the rest are shorter than the cages, which are 60cm. The C99 x Blueberry has grown a bit, but the Slaughtered Lamb, UK Outdoor Auto and Thunder Banana Auto have all stayed short. The Joshua clone has stayed fairly short and bushy too. All girls are in flower, except the Joshua clone and the C99 x Blueberry. I'm thinking it will be late July before anything's ready to harvest.

All doing great though. I'm particularly impressed with the way the damaged Short Term Amnesia has bounced back, having been pretty much a stump a few weeks ago. She's nearly the same size as her sisters now, but with two tops. A tough wee girl!

Pics below. They're not great because it was getting dark.

When I visited the railway on Saturday I did myself an injury while climbing a fence. Slipped and bashed my ankle on the inside. Didm't really hurt at the time, as I was focused on getting over the fence. Got home and on removing my sock a scab tore off, that was the sign of a wound, which was only small but below my ankle was all swollen. Next day it was agony... So a couple of days rest, painkillers later and it was alright to get out growing again. But the photoperiod plot has been set back again, because I didn't fancy carrying a rucksack full of compost and water, climbing over walls, etc. with a dodgy ankle. Not getting any younger, and minor injuries just seem to take longer to heal...

Anyway, went to check on one of the Auto Duck plots yesterday evening. The two big girls are doing just fine, bushing out nicely. I'm noticing two distinct phenos: a large, vigorous, smooth broad leaf one; and a smaller, spikier, crinkly leaf one with oddly shaped buds. A few pics below. Focus not great on two, they were taken with a 14 year old cameraphone...

Lugged a rucksack with compost and water to the photoperiod plot. Dug seven of the nine holes that will be needed: I'll dig the other two next visit, when I'll be planting out the girls that are currently in the veg cab. Good to finally make a bit more progress with this plot, after my wee mishap on Saturday. Still have to do cages or a perimeter fence, but again I'll do that next visit.

Today after work I took a look at all the plants still growing indoors.

In the veg cab, the six girls (S.A.D., Gorilla Gold Pie Fast, and two each of BCN Critical XXL Fast and Essex Gold) have been ready to plant out for at least a fortnight. They now pretty much fill the cabinet. I'll have to fabricate some cardboard sleeves to transport these girls as they'll not fit in bottles, that's for sure. Some combo of that cardboard, plus cling film to stop the soil from falling out. They'll be going to the new photoperiod plot as soon as possible. Tomorrow has gale force winds forecast, so maybe Sunday or Monday.

In the small tent, another eight girls (Kush Mintz, two each of Gorilla Gold Pie Fast and Citrus Burst, and three Shaman) are probably about ready to go out. They'll have to wait at least another week until I have a plot ready. There's a good spot not far from the photoperiod plot, so that will be dug over as soon as the first is planted.

I also have a bunch of @Sawney_bean autos at the seedling stage. I'll try to get these out in about three weeks' time in a "plant and leave" adventure.

Then we come to the mums and clones by the window. I inspected them all: 27 in total!!! So that's probably enough clones. If I include the four mums then there's 31 plants altogether! 🤣

Some of the clones are still quite small, and possibly may not have rooted fully. The earlier clones are getting pretty tall now. The mums haven't been pruned for a few weeks and are getting big and bushy. A few plants are flowering: one large Joshua clone is so far into flower she's forming big colas. I will probably pop her in a tent to finish as I suspect she's too far on to plant out. The Auto Duck clone is also flowering, so will either grow by the window or I'll chuck in the tent with Joshua. I plan to pollinate the Auto Duck with some Short Term Amnesia pollen, see what happens. Might also put a Frisian Duck clone, and a Super Kush clone in there too and pollinate them. Maybe I'll even dust a branch of the Joshua as well.

I have a handful more Frisian Duck clones, a couple of Triton Biscotto Lime, and another small Joshua. The rest are all Super Kush. Plenty of scope for further "plant and leave", especially with the numerous Super Kush clones.

As for the mums, I might take a few back up cuts from each, then they'll go out. The Frisian Duck will most likely go in a 47 litre fabric pot next to two Auto Ducks. The Super Kush, Joshua and Triton Biscotto Lime clones will go to the two photoperiod plots.

So eventually, over the next few weeks, nearly all these girls will be going out, at last...

No pics this time, but will take some before each wave goes out.
