Did some reading and think I am at least half way ready. It is Spring and currently receive 13H daylight, which is why I decided to start my first grow with Autofllowers.

Didn't find a lot of Onyx and Ogre Critical diaries, hopefully I won't be disappointed.

This is what I have (both plants will be treated the same):
Jiffy pellets
20L Freedom Pots
Local grow shop Organic Promix, consisting of:
Coco Peat, Perlite, Turbo Grow, Dolomite Lime, Rock Phosphate, Powdered Kelp, Mycoroot, Diatomaceous Earth, Trichoderma & Worm Castings.
BioBizz Bio-Grow
BioBizz Bio-Bloom

They will receive about 7hours direct sunlight.

After 22 hour soak in tap water, the Critical Ogre started to crack open with root peaking through, while the Onyx did not crack. I placed the seeds in Jiffy Pellets underneath a dome, outside in the same spot where they are going to grow:

One day has passed since seeds were planted, no growth above soil yet.

Day temperature: 23 - 27°C
Night temperatures: 11 - 15°C

It has been 5 days since I started the germinating process:
Day 0 - 22h soak
Day 1 - Plant seeds in Jiffy Pellets
Day 3 - Slight watering
Day 5 - Both seeds above ground, Onyx slightly behind Critical Ogre

Sprinkled some water over the pellets (still under dome) this morning, predicted temperature for today is 29°C. Great weather for a seedlings first day!

I must also mention that on Day 1, 4 x 5mm holes were made at the top of the humidity dome.

For feeding purposes, I will be counting the weeks as soon as the second set of true leaves reveals themselves. When this happens I will transplant the pellets in the soil.

I am also counting " from seed to harvest", as this is how most websites advertise their seeds.

From the supplying seedbank's website:

Auto ONYX is a legendary auto that was originally created in 2007. It has been continuously improved since then and is now considered to be one of the most potent and flavoursome auto strains. Its genetic line originates from AK47, White Russian, Jack Herer with a secret ingredient. Plants grow fairly tall for autos and produce a strong hash passion fruit smell with citrus tones. Due to its height the yield us impressive also. This strain shows exactly how far auto-flowering genetics have come in the last 8 years

Critical Ogre 'Big 'n Fast' Auto Feminised

Breeder: Seedsman
CBD: Content Unknown
Flowering-time: 9 - 10 weeks
Flowering-type: Autoflowering
Genetics: Ogre x Auto Critical+ 2.0
Grows: Greenhouse,Grows indoors,Grows outdoors
Sex: Feminised
Variety: Indica / Sativa
Yield: Medium

Critical Ogre is a new (2016) autoflowering strain with impressive vigour and strength. The initial goal in creating this strain was to the improve the quality of the Ogre. To achieve this, the Joint Doctor crossed the sativa-dominant Ogre with Dinafem's Auto Critical+ 2.0, which was selected for this purpose from among 30 auto strains tested in J.D.'s greenhouse in 2014. In the process, the Joint Doctor may have created his best auto strain yet! Critical Ogre produces large, tight buds, densely covered with resin glands. An ideal candidate for production as well as home-growing.

I have to force myself not checking up on the seedlings every few hours, I just want to sit next to them the whole day and watch them grow!

It is somewhat cloudy today and expecting some rain tonight.

Seedlings are coming along nicely.

I have sprinkled some slug/snail pellets around and under the pots, although I have not spotted any pests yet, prevention is better than cure.

For pest control I am using:
Biogrow Ferramol
Biogrow Bioneem

3rd day above soil today, not much to comment on, weather still cloudy, had little rain last night and will probably have some tonight also.

As can be seen from the picture, the Onyx dried out a bit, sprinkled some water over the pellets today. Day/Night temperatures still at ~23/11°C

Today is Day 9 from starting the germination process and Day 5 above ground.

Roots started poking out of the Jiffy pellets so decided to transplant them in the Freedom pots, I will leave the humidity dome on for 3 more days.

Before transplanting, I saturated the soil with tap water.

Roots poking through Jiffy pellet, "tap root" was also growing out of the bottom, was a little longer than the lateral roots.

Interesting strain choices!! I nearly tried the onyx after seeing some really nice grows, and i have also seen some sweet grows with ogre(though not the critical ogre) Good luck bud!!

Hey bud, looks like you're off to a good start. When you have time check out the links in @912GreenSkell signature they are a gold mine of information for us outdoor growers. I see the man himself is already in the house, I meant to put a link here to his guides the other day but got baked and forgot to come back here. :baked:
