Hey guys,

Just wondering what you think of this light.

Amazon product ASIN B01MG21NRF
50w (tthink it has 10 5w chips - 120degrees angle) I worked out that at 28cm height it is 50w per square metre. I will add more lights as the plant grows.

should be recieving it in the post today. Will let you know how it goes.

I am using this as it looks like it may give most bang for buck. True 50w = £23

Poor man grow

It will grow, but you will need to remove lenses for best output. Also be sure to put a fan blowing across, they get really hot. I used a cheaper version and it went out in a month or so.

They just arent made for 18hrs of being on, i found some 100w delight led Hibay for 100 USD on auction site that claim 27000 lumens per light. But I couldn't take the chance and bought 4 qb120 v2 for 130 USD

Thanks stillsmokin

Yea I will see if the glass comes off easy, have a clip on fan to cool

They have at least a years warranty so can replace if it fails

How did the cheaper version perform before it does?

This has to be better than cfl?

Way better than CFL for sure, and the cheaper one I bought was really bright, but really hot and I believe that's what made it burn out.

Well that friggin' sucks.
You live and learn, had many ppl tell me to spend the money on a good light and go cheap on nutes. Did I listen... No, but sometimes you must learn the hard way. Now 6 different light setups later I've settled that cob and qb are best.
