Hello everybody, its time for me to start a new journal. My last grow was Red Poison in 4L pot, the plant was very small and so was the yield. But really nice smoke.

This time I planted Cream Caramel in 6L pot and Red Poison in 3L pot. Planted CC one day before than RP but RP popped up 2 days before. RP popped 7.9 and CC today, 9.9.

Light regime this time will be 20/4, temperature when lights are on is 26-28°C and when they are off around 24-5°C. Humidity is 50-60% when lights on, and it goes up to 70% when off, but thats only when I water. Usually its 50% when on, 60% when off.

Soil Ill be using is Terra Brill Blumenerde, very fine soil. Just look at the structure. This soil is proven to grow awesome plants. In vegetation phase Ill just be adding Hesi Super Vit and in flowering Ill be using Plagron Terra Bloom and Green Sensation. Thinking of buying Plagron Sugar Royal but most likely not in this grow because Im working on another cabinet and will spend money on that.

Tent is like last time 35x35x60 cm. 1x90mm 70cfm fan for exhaust, passive intake and 1x80mm mixing air and one similar to clip fans blowing air to the exhaust.

Distance from lights is around 30-35cm, light is 4x Cree CXB 2530 3000k at 350mA which is 45-50w. Possible to dim driver to 700mA but in m, experience 100w is to much for this tent, even at 500mA is to much. Will see how CC reacts to distance because I think RP is showing me she wants to get closer to the lights.

Every comment is appreciated, especially about light distance, because it seems to me RP is kinda stretched.

The smaller one is CC and bigger one is RP.

Cream Caramel and Red Poison, Nice. Looking forward to see how it goes.

Can i ask for some details on your cob set up like what driver and if your dimming and such?

Also are you letting these grow natural or going to try some bending or tipping?

Thanks for stopping by. Panel is made of 4x CXB 2530 3000k, driver Im using is Meanwell ELG-150-C700A. Cobs are currently dimmed to 350mA and will stay that way, around 50w. In my past grows I kept panel a lot closer to the plants and it seems they didnt really like it, also when I dimmed it to 500-550mA my top cola started drying, distance was 10-12cm.

This time I keep it at 30cm and 50w. Its obvious that I wont be able to keep that distance in this small tent so I will LST them in order to keep them at least 15 cm from the panel. Will leave it on 50w for the whole grow. Was thinking of fimming RP but not sure, maybe even top her.

Since I kept my panel closer in the past 2 grows plants were very small and a little bit stunted Id say. So what do you guys think how do they look now? Are they stretched to much or they are just fine. They both are 6-6.5cm high.

Its day 4 for RP and day 2 for CC. Temperature is 27-9°C when lights on and 24-6°C when off. RH is from 60-75%.

Hi mjau, thanks for starting a new diary ;)
To prevent the stretching I recommend you to make them move with the fan, you can also put the light closer to the plants.

Be careful because the soil will dry faster and the plant could die.
Hope this helps you, good luck!!

Your definitely going to have a battle with height! 10cm is too close for my 100w mars ref let alone some cree cobs,
So I would most definately recommend a tipping or two to reduce height and encourage central and side growth. Aim for a 35cm2 scrog, I always prefer bending but in your limited space tipping is probably necessary to achieve a more even canopy

As for the streching do not worry yourself too much my friend shit happens, but do what jay said haha.

I have two dark devils on day 1 today under fluroescent light, ill let you know ifs jays tip works for me to stop them streching.

Peace

orrganic, as you know, if you're using fluorescent, plants need to be near to 5 cm from the light.

Sweet smokes!!

Yes they are very close, about 6-7cm. The seedlings at 2 days old are 3 and 3.5cm tall.
Hows the stretch issue going @mjau, is it possible to lower your panel a little? Or would this be too late @Sweet Seeds Jay

The stretch was just slightly more than its normal. Just I had to move plants outside, needed to move. So wont finish this journal indoor. Will post pictures of plants from outdoor, Im blessed to live in Dalmatia and there is plenty of sun.
