Sweet Seeds cr0crop's first attempt - cream mandarine x 2 under marshydro 300s

Day 51 (44 for cc)
I've left it 10 days from last pictures because all appears to be going well and I can't keep my head out the tent so it's nice to see how they change over time.

CM1 is looking and smelling great. Really frosty and sticky and smelling of very sweet citrus but with a certain smoothness so really doing the name justice. Lots of light orange hair development aswell so this one will defo be done first.

CM2 is still lagging behind, only really starting to frost up over the last few days. Buds are a lot smaller, pistills all white still and is definitely less aromatic than her big sister. Also a sharper tone to the scent, more limey than orange or mandarine.

The colorado cookies now towers above both of them. I think it was an inch or 2 under CM 1 in the last pictures. Main cola stretch stopped at 65cm. Buds are forming everywhere. Got a way to go yet but I think this one's going to yield nicely.

The girls are fighting for space in there. Definitely going to use more training techniques next time round. Have applied some lst and pony tailing to cm2 and the cookies and I've defoliated the little cm quite heavily to try and get maximum light on the buds. Think the cookies could definitely have benefitted from topping, maybe all 3 would.

All seem to be drinking a lot more in the past week with the cookies drinking the most taking up to 2l a day with no run off. I water 2 or 3 times a day and am just going by the weight of the pots atm. The humidity has shot up in the same period from low to high thirtys to high 50's today. Think I need more fan power in there. Only got a little clip on running right now.

I think it's nearly time to start flushing. I want to give them a good long flush so roughly what % amber trichs should I be looking for?
I haven't got a camera but the pictures I have you get an idea if you zoom in and I think both cream mandarines are just starting to amber up. Didn't expect to see any on number 2 as she still looks a while from done. Will the buds continue to firm up through the flush?

Second one looks like its needs more time. I look for 75% dark pistils then look at trichs. You need a loupe or scope.

The age old question, when is my plant ready, I... I waited until most pistols have turned brown, had about 10-20% amber, but this depends on the strain, not all auto strains go amber my Big Easy;s showed way more amber than my AK49. So far I pushed all my plant 2 -3 week passed their recommended harvest time to the 12th /13th with about the 70% of the plant yellowing and dying...careful I made one plant hermie on my right at the end on my last grow pushing to far, mind you if I had the room I could have left it to pollinated it self for guaranteed Auto seeds.

Thanks, I think I'm gonna give number 1 another day or 2 as there's still quite a few white pistills lower down and then start the 2 week flush.

Comparing my plants to other diaries on the Web I definitely seem to be getting slower bud development and they appear to be lacking in density. I think I may need some more light in the tent to do 3 at once next time and also a more stable temperature as it has been a bit up and down. Am I on the right page there or is there any other things to consider? I've decided I'm just doing one next time anyway till I get another light.

Day 62 (55)

I'm getting yellowing on the leaves and also rusty spots on CM1 now. I thought it was flush time but under super close inspection (I bought a little scope that's 60-120x and super fiddly for bud) I'm seeing a lot of clear trichs and basically no amber so my phone camera pictures are misleading. My understanding is you want them at least all cloudy before shes done so i guess ill be feeding her a bit longer. Little surprised at that as she was the fast growing one but looks like she's still gonna go over 80 days. What do you guys think ?

Not really seeing yellowing of fans yet, mostly on the leaves round the main cola. And the rusty spots are slowly spreading. She had had 1ml per litre calmag every feed except for a couple where I increased and caused the leaves to claw up. Will she be able to take more than that now? It states to use 0.5-1ml on the bottle so I don't want to go over kill (again). Any advice greatly appreciated as I'm not sure what to do here.

Colorado cookies is coming along nicely. Like the others she's a bit slow to develop which I think means I need to get better control of the environment next time around. But buds are taking shape now. I was unsure of the best position for the lights so I was moving them around quite a bit trying things out and ended up warping some of the top cola leaves. Other than that, she's looking good and smelling amazing. Definitely getting stronger by the day. Like a pungent minty fruity cake
