Indoor Counting the Days

Hey all,

Just wondering when most of you start counting your days- day 1 is the day you sow the seed? day 1 is the day the seed pops up with cotyledons?

I have been generous, calling day 1 about 2-3 days after cotyledons pop- when i'm sure it's established.

I start counting the day it shows itself from the soil.

I soak mine for a day or two till they crack, then right into the soil. I count from the time they go in the soil. To me that's easier than trying to keep track of plants that pop on different days.

I start when they break soil as day 1.

Mine all broke soil within a day of each other so I count from the first day they were all above soil.
