Anyone have recommendations for a good strain with purple or blue or anything but green that CONSISTENTLY grows 100 gram harvests as an auto? Trying to find something pretty for the wife but I shoot for heavy yielders. Lol

I had some Sweet Seed Dark Devils that grew fairly large. Dark eggplant purple buds.
Pete, how's it going? The "consistantly" usually turns out to be the probem with autos. I have grown several strains side by side with the exact same treatment, and one plant will give you six eight oz and the other only grows half as tall and gives half the yield. Commonly refered to as different phenotypes of the same strain. This same genetic variability causes problem with getting the color your looking for. I grew three strains that were supposed to have like 80 percent chance of purple and each time I got green plants. I finally got a really dark purple with the Budda Purple Kush. Legend has it that it is almost 100 percent purple. I think you read my journal, I got about 3 Oz and it was not a good grow.
Heavily my man how you been? Yes I read through that journal! What u said above is what I assumed. I guess I'll just have to hope for one when I buy a purple strain. Lol right now I got 4 A x T going from the vault. Tomorrow I'm buying a 4x4 tent and some California snow seeds and maybe something else and pack my tent full. Hopefully my mars II 1200w can take on a 4x4 tent with 6 to 8 plants? If not I'll buy a cheap led to cover what the 1200 won't. Lol. Like a veg light for one half of the tent to keep things going always

@Discretepete2676 Hey Pete, will definatly follow your grow. I have an entry in the Solo Cup Growoff and a couple of serious girls that I did not journal. One is a few weeks from harvest a nice WOS NLxBB the other is DP Auto Ultimate at about 56 days and just getting into some serious flowering. How's things going? Weren't you in the middle of a move and your wife having a baby? Here is a pic of the NLxBB.

a4x4 tent tomorrow to step things up a bit after a great first harvest of over a pound! Lol whew! Got myself a Mars II 1200w as well so no more cheap ilight equipment from the bottom of the barrel. Time to grow some serious weed! My harvest was great and the buds are good to boot. ....but I want denser more resinous bud and healthier plants. Also upgraded from fox farms to advanced. Going to try tangs schedule and see how it goes lol. Like starting over again haha. Glad to see you popping back up as you are the reason I found this place through research! Lol
