New Grower Confused about Flowering - Harvesting

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that breeder so no joy there. As far as the run-out to your grow, I should have remembered you're in soil and I'm indoors only, so I think someone else can give you better advice. As for timing, your pic of 7/23 tells me you're pulling nutrients from the leaves and my guess is that you'd have another two weeks to get to 20-30% amber. This would be the case for me with the WWs I've grown in the past. Of course, your preference rules here ...

Plant looking pretty burned out but still No Amber Trychs. All cloudy white. (Photos Attached). Since some strains of White Widow do not express the Amber Trychs I'm told, when do I give up waiting for them and harvest the plant anyway? The plant is looking pretty sad. Most leaves totally yellowed out and a few dyeing.
Is This Plant Ready for Harvest??

What is your opinion ???

Looks great though not quite ready .... what percentage of the pistils are brown and shriveled up ? I like to harvest when about 3/4 of the pistils have turned brown and shriveled up .... the pistils are the female sex organ reaching for a grain of pollen to pollenate it and form a seed ... while the pistils are white the bud is putting on weight and adding frost (trichomes) as they die off the ability of the bud to reproduce lessens as does it's production of frost and weight ... in my opinion the harvest window opens when about 50% of the pistils have turned brown ... I like to wait for 75% or more depending on the health of the plant ... if the buds still look 'fresh' w/ 75% brown pistils I let her run a little longer .... this being a Sativa 'leaning' white widow I'm not sure how amber the trichs will become, but I know harvest based on the condition of the pistils never lets me down. Nice plant.

Photos taken a few days before harvest ... I would rate this a little over 50% brown and curly on a healthy bud ... or "Early Harvest Window" ... Not my plant .... I took care of the harvest for a friend when he was out of town ... Hope this helps ...

Hi Chester: I checked out the buds yesterday and could find very few white pistils. Most were either brown or not visible at all. Here is a picture. I think its just about ready.
