colder temps, autos vs photos

RB Passion Punch in 3 gall Rain Science bag (7 days above soil)
Nirvana Orig Glue in 3 gall Rain Science bag (9 days above)
Sensi Super Skunk auto in 5 gall Vivosun felt grow bag (13 days above soil)
Headlights Kush auto in 5 gall Vivosun felt grow bag (13 days above soil).....

Some days I use my 400 watt mini heater outside my tent, all day. I have to, to keep my VPD in proper range.


The Roc Bud auto I never germinated. Just stuck seed about a 1/2 inch below the soil, soil was moist with RECHARGE tho. It popped above ground in 24 to 28 hours.

Lights on 24/7........lil heater is on a lot to get my temps 71 to 77 Fahrenheit always.....RH ranges 67 to 80%.....

Rain Science 3 gallon grow bags arrived yesterday at 11 am.....By 11:30 the Roc Bud Passion Punch and Nirvana "Original Glue" were transplanted from red solo cup to the grow bags.


Those Rain Science bags are legit! My brothers used them a month and his autos are beastly. Lots of air gets to the roots in these.

Current pics, taken 5 min ago. 2 humidifiers I run, both have great filters but not great humidity so I need 2 to combat my basements 20-30% humidity. I like young plants getting a minimum of 60%.




BOTTOM LEFT (Headlights Kush) was fimmed 2 days ago......not how I usually do it (clean scissors) but I gently ripped off 75% of the top.

I've learned one thing "so far" on my 3 week auto journey......Autos drink more water then photos.

Was having temp issues as well, in NNY. Also in basement. Day temps are optimal but night creeps near 55f even with 250w ceramic heater on. Have an inkbird temp controller installed and that helped. Gonna insulate top and 3 sides of tent today with some blankets. Extractor is set to come on at 77deg f

Bought a BRIGHT TOWN 400 watt ceramic heater off Amazon, was like $20.........it does a good job, its on 24/7 till next month.

ordered a tiny 400 watt Ceramic heater, hopefully it can raise my tent temps 8 to 10 degrees. If so I'll be fine.

Might’ve already said this, NNY about 40 min from thousand islands bridge. Yah it’s cold. Gonna try blankets around the tent

Cold temps when my plants were seedlings has kept my first auto run kinda small, imo. 2 Tallest plants are about 30" tall.......2 others are about 24"/

I'm far from impressed with autos so far, maybe the next 35 days will pack on more bud.
