Howdy all~
My outdoor Attitude freebie G13 Haze photoperiod in a black 20 gal smart pot had buds die on the vine from AZ summer and probably less water than needed so I bought a couple autos as a plan B to have a Xmas stash. The Critical only grew to about 12' as I transplanted it into the 20 gal for my G13 so I'm guessing some nute lockout from the old Ocean Forest but the Sensi Seeds Skunk auto in a black 15 gal smart pot is about 34", new soil, lots of bud sites and very Xmas tree shaped, but it's now cold in AZ with day temps in the 50's and nights from mid-40's to mid 30's...the Skunk has stretched this pas week but the only real flowers are the pre-flowers on the stald (which are HUGE). Lots of pistils and very slow growth, and there is visible trich production on the top bud but not on lower bud sites. as it's now freakin' cold at nite, I'm wondering if the soil is too cold for the living bacteria to work and as growth has slowed should I just let it keep trying to grow at the present rate? Both plants are at the 84 day mark: the Critical is uber frosted, trichs are all cloudy but no ambers, and Attitude says the Critical is "long flowering" but the Skunk is "fast flowering" which seems opposite of what I'm seeing...I bought new tan smart posts from 5 gal - 15 gal for spring grow so I'm also thinking black pots aren't the best in a stupid-hot AZ back yard....I've grown indoors for 25 years but a couple moves, a job loss and some other crap has left me with a room mate and no place to grow indoors so my learning curve for outdoor growing in just beginning and my new beans are all autos except for a couple interesting photoperiods from Ace which have African genetics that should be able to handle the AZ sun...any advice is always appreciated!
