Welcome Hipo, Pease don’t apologize, I enjoyed reading this. Yes the Cobs Sold separately are the same as the ones used in the AutoCobs. Not sure how the currency exchange rate works out but the cob itself is around 15usd, the holders are less expensive.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the answer!!! And how is the holder? I can’t find any picture or the function of that. Do you send to Argentina ? The led work with 220v direct? (I need around 10 to try, after that, I’ll buy like 100 to sell in my country)Thanks!!!

The holder makes it so you don’t have to solder connections on the cob

The holder is not needed but it’s very useful. it holds the cob to the heatsink evenly, this particular holder has a small reflector built in and as mentioned above allows for an easy solder-less connection.
The cobs are DC current, the driver you choose converts the cobs to ac current so you can use standard 120-240v power. Most drivers self adjust to 120 and 240v. Meanwell is recommended and one that does adjust. Yes I do ship to Argentina, I actually shipped 4 AutoCobs there last week.

But make sure you trim any driver leads to approximately 1/4” so when you stuff the wires in the holes, you don’t stuff them in so far as to grip the insulation instead of the bare wire. Ain’t that right Sm0? Saves a lot of emails and troubleshooting too.

You got that right. Happy to help. I actually don’t sell much outside the AutoCobs though. Most people rather buy them completed and just hang them.

Just a heads up. :face:

I may be temporarily closing for a few days time. I think the barge took a wrong turn and the latest shipment is delayed. That and there was a massive boost in sales here lately. I hope to get things back up and running soon. When I do get going again I will have a discount as well as a give away. Just about 2 dozen AutoCobs left.

You guys rock.
