Lighting COB vs QB smack down

I just looked, the member hosting the side by side hasn’t been seen in a few months.

He did leave off with a great picture though.

I run Cree Cobs from Rapid and HLG QBs with the newest chips. Love them both but think the Cobs much just be a bit more intense. And I think the Citizens might just out do the Cree based on what I’ve seen. At the end of the day I think it’s to close to call. But based on the customer service and board participation here I think the decision is easy to make.

I do agree. Every one of the top brands is so close it’s hard to say one will beat another or produce anything noticeably different. Imagine that coming from a light company owner lol. It could be as small as your plants could be a bit more light hungry and the extra wattage did them well or vice verse. On the other hand even though I’ll probably make the hit list I can’t say the same for the smaller diode lights. They do work and veg fantastic but come flower time I haven’t been able to get results that topped the cobs or even come close unless I increased the wattage significantly. I have run them close, far. Far then close, close then far. It’s not just me either. I ask everyone I see running them and most say the same thing. To be 1000% honest if they did better I’d sell them.
