Hey now!
Day 31.
I am in a lot of trouble here. Look at this monster. Over four feet this morning. Yikes!

Oh boy! I think you better start bending her and keep her down. What do you do BTW when you cannot keep her at a good distance (60cm to 75cm) from your COBs as she grows closer? Do you dim the lights or just blast at full power despite the canopy being close?

I don't know about willie but my setup has a dimmer . It was one of the features that sold me on these COB's :thumbsup:

She's going to have to get pulled to the center of the tent. I don't have dimming on these.

@wwwillie

Dimming defeats the purpose of using cobs which is to get as much light on the bud sights as possible. Super Cropping is what I have used successfully in the past to tame a monster tall sativa plant. I recommend having some grafting tape handy if that stock has become woody. Roll the stem between your thumb and forefinger - don't be afraid to put some squeeze into it - until you feel the inside of the stem go soft for about 3 times the diameter of the stem in length; then bend it over to 90° If the outside of the stem tears open too much wrap it with the grafting tape to promote faster healing. I have tried duct tape and it works but grafting tape seals better and you get a faster heal on the wound. Do this about 6" lower than you first think about because the tip of the plant will turn back up about that much in just a few days. Have some sticks or yoyos ready in case the top is too heavy for the stem to stay at 90°.

That is an amazing plant!

Hey!
Thanks for the great advice. I know what you are talking about with the dimming. I wouldn't use it here if they had it. LST is my only hope here. I like the grafting tape thing too. I was hoping to pull off a gentle "S" curve with it, kind of. Just pull her sideways enough that when she straightens the top will be in the center area of the four pendants. Then I could possible add a fifth pendant just for her top.

I'll bet she is too woody for LST to work.

I am probably using the term incorrectly. You are correct, she's pretty much a tree down there by the pot. I am going to gently, hence the Low Stress, pull her over to the center of the tent from about half to three quarters of the way up. Hoping to get the top to grow up the center of the tent, Training. Should gain some headroom. This is all so unplanned and unexpected. I should have grown one plant not four!!

It is a jungle in there. I made the mistake of growing Moby Dick CBD in a 3'x3'x5' tent. My first clue should have been MOBY DICK! This is the plant I super cropped every 3 days trying to keep her away from the lights. I did not have cobs then just Roleadro LEDs which did not burn the tops like COBs would. So I feel your pain.
