I am going to have to drop out. I have had a few technical issues that have derailed my COB entry.

Being my first COB grow I underestimated the strength of the COB's and have just about fried everything that was under them.
All is not lost though. I figured out what the problem was and got them all out into the sun for some rest and recovery. After a couple of days and they are perking up.
The survivors will carry over to the Mephisto grow now I have broken the light cycle.

I have had to dim my lights down to 30w/sq ft, at 50 it was way to much. That is with the light 1m above the canopy.

@Mañ'O'Green and his mean, clean, growing machine!!!
Thank you. Cleanliness is next to Ganjaness - you can quote me on this. The main reason I moved from living soil to hydro several years ago was due to my bad back. I simply cannot move heavy pots around. Pumps do all of my heavy lifting now. By using high quality Kelp at several stages of growth I feel that I am getting a comparable product to soil. Outdoors I have an organic vegetable/flower garden with living soil that I have been tending for almost 20 years now. From April through November we are eating something we grew - my wife and me. Now it has only been a couple of years but it seems I have fewer plant problems with a cleaner hydro environment. Maybe it just what I am vaping!

DAY 15 Northern Lights update

I got rid of the little one and this one will therefore be the chosen gladiator for the growbattle @Prophetiko

COB's are running still at 100w total about 60cm away from the canopy

So sorry bro! I still remember firing up my DIY COB lights as a test, first time and running out of the room blinded by the light searching for some sunglasses. They can be sooooo powerfull. How close did you have them to burn your babies?

I started out at 3ft, thinking I was being over cautious. When things weren't looking so good I dropped them to a bit over 2ft. Bad move, things went downhill quickly. Even the older plants suffered. Pulled everything out for some sun therapy and they slowly improved so I raised the COBs and dimmed them down. The 3590s are quite intense. I am used to bouncing the lights off the plants canopy.
You live and learn.

Day 14
Here we are at my official day 14. I checked my notes and I somehow added a day to my count. So this is actually day 14.

Check out my new background courtesy of Teh Wife.

Oh and they received their first full feed last night complete with a foliar feed of posidonzime and some bene's from Microbe Life. They look great I think.

Nah dude, i am with you. Two liquids water and done. I dont grow organic buds, but no one seems to mind. :smokeout: baked and wondering, isn't everything made up of chemical compounds?
