Hey guys,
I have 9 plants on the run now and I potted them today into 1,5L pot´s with coco for their next couple of days. What would you recommend as final pots either 6, 15 or 22L Air Pots? What I have seen so far, you guys use 15L more or less for the Autos - right? As I said I´m not experienced with Autos - so may you can help me and give me a good advice.
The rules say I have to nominate ONE of the plants as the conqueror till the end of the month - right?
Cheers
9 plants! Thats a lot of fire you got going. As far as the competition is concerned, you have until Sept 30th to pick the plant you will compete with. As far as final pot size, a few factors are at play.. Mainly how much space you have to work with. If you have the square feet and height, why not go big! The 2nd thing to consider is how much time you have and the genetics involved. The bigger the pot, the bigger the plant, which equals longer finishing times. This comp ends December 4th. So you've got roughly 12 weeks, which should be more than long enough time to use a 5-7 gal pot. I use 3 or 5 gal pots.. If the genetics are a medium size with a quick finish (65-75 days from seed), I'll use a 5gal.. If the genetics are on the larger size and longer finish (85+) I'll use a 3 gal. They seem to be best for maximizing the space/height I have to work with, but is all personal choice!
