Lighting COB for small closet, just questions no log :)

Yes you can stick a data link in bro.i think the more you can drive with lower amps the better the efficiency will be.i am sure you are looking at the same guy i bought mine from on ebay(estonia ?) but he only has the 4000k but they seem to be working great on my girl,if she looks like she needs more red to fill the buds in properly i will just stick my mars 400w(180 actual draw)in the tent as well but i think the 4000k will do just fine

That Estonia dude does have the 3500k now (£45 for 5)...well he did a couple of weeks ago when I did buy for my Mars hack

Currently got the bits all ordered for a 200w 1212 grow in a 2x4 closet, if you get the hlg 185h c1400b driver and run 4 1212s it's simple, and you can dim this down as it may still be a bit much, I struggled on the heatsinks part got
one off eBay but I'll need to try it passive before I can tell you it works haha

The datasheet for the HLG series specifies an internal knob for current limiting (dimming) is this accesible on the front panel on A-models?

Yes the A model has a built-in potentiometer on the driver. I would recommend the B model which has wires for remote dimming.

I just got some 1212's from the ebay guy, $50 for 5 3000k 90cri. I grabbed 15 of them. Dont mix colors on your cobs, theres no real benefit to it.

Hi guys, the situation has changed and a more stealthy setup is needed. I now have a big tower pc case (24.5" tall, 18inch in dept, 8inch wide). I want appropriate light and minimum heat. Im thinking hlg-80c-700b, with 3 x 1212 4000k at ~24w each. And a 100k pot for dimming.
2 Fans out, one in blowing directly on heatsinks.

My question: will this fry my plant? (one at the time growl

According to the photo growers no it's not but I wouldn't consider more than 1 25w cob in there.

So an apv-25-36 and a 1212 with a low profile heatsink. Allrighty then, ill hit you guys up with pics when the parts arrive.

Again, thank you so much for the help! :thanks:

Ok, so switching for a pc grow instead. Got a big tower and two 1212 90cri 3500K. Now heres the part where i messed up: i bought an APV-25-36 constant Voltage:nono:.
Then i bought the correct apc 700ma type 25watt. Can i use the constant voltage psu (max current 700ma) or should i buy another APC?
