CO2

When is the proper time to use CO2? The mushroom co2 bag is what I am asking about. I see some grows that are large with no CO2 and some with. I see small 2x2 or 3x3 grows with and without CO2. I am probably looking to much into this, but before I drop like $50 on a bag of mushrooms, I would like to get a general idea. I stopped watching YouTube videos and I am focused on information from here. Thanks to anyone who replies. Enjoy your day.

I have never grown with adding extra co2. I think it is a waste of money for a small personal grow that gets a good flow of air that has people. dogs. or outside air replenishing the co2. I can see commercial growers using extra co2, but for a home grow, you need to get a lot of things on point before extra co2 should come into play.

The only issue with the mushroom bags is when your ventilation system turns on to take care of excessive heat or humidity it also removes all that co2 the shrooms add. The best way is to have the bag of shrooms in the lung room. Personally I would save the money for something else!
