i can't really say whether the co2 system i use helps or not but
the diy system is a 5 gallon bucket with a food grade lid that seals good
we use 5 pounds of regular sugar and 3 packets of active dry yeast a week
this thing bubbles a steady 2 bubbles per second.
i have the exhaust fan pulling through the cool tube light fixture form an inlet that is outside the grow area
that way i never suck any of the co2 out
i use 2 circulating fans to keep the air moving and keep things under 90f most of the time
my tent is only 2ft x 4ft x 5ft so maybe the amount of co2 is overkill
but sugar and yeast is pretty cheap so if it helps them grow better
i figure we might as well give them an organic boost.
my lights run 18/6 so i guess we waste alot of co2 during the dark cycle but i dont have any controls for that yet.

so i decided to not get co2 for this box and put the money towards a bigger light ! the blackstar 240 witch will fit nicely

a DIY co2 system will only set you back about $10-$15. even cheaper if you use a gallon milk jug or bottle you have around the house. some plain sugar, yeast and warm water. o yea, enough hose or tubing to form a loop and then attach the end to a fan to disperse or just hang the hose above your plant and let gravity do the dispersement for you.
co2 gives your plants more of what they require,
indoors you control every bit of the enviorment,so why not give them all the supplemental benefits you can?

CalCarb By Xtreme Gardening is also good I guess it helps with co2 intake and I find that spray the down at about 2 weeks and then again at week 4 and after I do everytime they take off like mad.Its Calcium Carbonate and I use it as a folar spray then let it sit on it for a couple days then after 48 hours I spray them down with water to clean the leafs. IT seems to add a big boost to my girls non autos and autos. Just thought you might like to look at that as well like the set up very clever

With led's and lower temps c02 might not be fully effective but if u put a 250w HPS in there and get temps above mid 80's and do c02 it should work wonders..JMO..GL bro
