hi i am about a week to ten days close to harvest and i am at week 10 or so with my autos
my problem is that it seems my stems are not able to support the weight of the colas on top or down now at some of the popcorns.
i have tried to support them with threads along the way but it seems as they fatten up more the problems arise once more.
my question is do i need to support them upwards or can i leave them hanging side ways, it might be a dumb question but i see that the stems dont brake or get any damage so i thought to myself maybe it is not such a bad thing since the popcorns now get so much more light from my 1000 w hps.
i guess if the stem is not damage then water and so on will flow through it anyways, please correct me if i am wrong and tell me what the best thing would be to do.
i attach some pictures.

Supporting would be best. If not you run the risk of breaking stems. There are things you can add (silica) but now is a little late. Yo-yos might be your best bet here, if you can get them fast enough. Look for plant yo-yo hangers. 31AyR7BiG5L._AC_SY400_.jpg

Just put some sticks in the pot and tie them up.

I've been overthinking things a lot lately... my ex-wife got a stimulus card in the mail for me... we spent almost a week trying to run into each other before I realized it's all digital... open the envelope and send me pics of the cards front and back, done. Getting old kinda sucks.

Yeah what he said... sticks.

Maybe use bigger pots next time so you have more room for root but yeah silica add stems back into soil to decompose and they have what makes stems in them. It's probably best to hold those so they don't snap or you could buy azomite it has silica and other minerals and top dress in the future. You need to get the nutrients in when the branches are developing to get them thick. Flowers make flowers. Green leafs make more green leafs if you recycle them into a living soil
