Rasterman this is such a cool project!!! Thanks for sharing and good luck
Thanks @logangrowgan2020! It has to be successful. It's the only way to save mothers with draconian plant count rules.Rasterman this is such a cool project!!! Thanks for sharing and good luck
I have as much metal in me as Evel Knievel and I'm fine! Worst case it develops an excess of iron (pronounced like Bugs Bunny does). But seriously, when I put the scion down on the pin I screwed up and it poked out the side. So in a month I can pull it out with a pair of needle nose pliers. I meant to do that!Hey brother
What a neat experiment/trial you are doing
Nice to see it picking up pace as the donor plants are getting there.
You can buy grafting tape specially made for this purpose. Also very curious what's going to happen with your current graft as there is a foren body inside it now...It can go both ways so I've made myself some rolling a joint and enjoying the show brother
Thanks @throwstuffatme. I love growing Afghans. I wish you could could get great sativa effects from Afghan plants and the world would be perfect!@Rasterman Morning to you, your project it’s really progressing now. Congratulations on getting this far as we all get so distracted form life nowadays.
A great idea to include the pin I wouldn’t of thought of this little trick. Well you will know soon if she grafts and I’m wishing you luck and blessings on this one.
I’m quickly discovering I’m very addicted to Afghan genetics :smoking:
Yes it's my understanding that rooting gel would work, and soaking it in a nutrient solution is recommended. I didn't use anything this time except soak it in water for awhile.Such a difficult project. I do hope that one perks back up for you. At least then you know your method can work. Would rooting gel help with the connection at all? I didn't see if you used any type of product at the graft.
