Problem: Dark clawing on new veg tips, and lower leaves/branches are 'laying' on the ground

Medium/grow method: coco

Feed: and supplements used: Nutrients used have been 1ml cal/mag, 5.5ml canna A/B, and required amount of pH down - in 1 gallon of water. (pot gets roughly a quart or so of water)

water source: city tap

Strain/age: NCH 18-19 days

light used: 2x 320XL HLG @ 30"

Climate: RH 55-65% ; temps ranging from 71-85(night-day) right now in a 5x5 (now capping around 755 since fixing cooling issues)

Additional info: Monday things got very got and the tent was close to 88* and High humidity. Wednesday these symptoms got worse, and have stayed the same since then, today being Friday. The coco is feeling dryer now and I'd planned to water but not sure what to do in regards to this. I have a mango smile growing next t it that potentially nute burned but otherwise it's growing like a literal weed and hasn't shown any other problems since the initial tip burning that has stopped. Both plants treated same way.

so whats your PH going in vs going out? i had clawing issues and it was due to the ph being way off, plant couldnt take up anything i gave her. not saying thats whats going but i dont see your measured PH up top, so...

pH going in is 6.1-2. pH out is similar now.

Initially in week 1 I was watering non-ph'ed water (city base is 7.7-7.8 or so). I figured that out with help and began watering appropriately with pH down incorporated with calmag and canna a/b. TDS generally between 500-540 and pH in around 6.1-.2

(i'd had some issue with it with spotting that I thought was calmag issues potentially but it could have been pH swings from when i first started to correct it.. right now I'm just trying to figure out what to do when i water today - coco is going brown halfway uptop)

are you letting them get a bit dryer between waterings? could be that they are overwatered. ph in/out looks good.

I was watering every day initially, being that it is coco, and everything I'd read/heard says not to let coco dry else it becomes hydrophobic but I noticed that going to water every otehr day, the other plants are doing well. I have a mango smile that cant stop wont stop sort of life. But this NCH seems very moody if I mess anything up. It hasn't had water since Tuesday, the outer ring of coco up top is beginning to turn lighter while the coco under plant, shaded from the light, still looks/feels moist.

Wasn't sure what to do with it. Just went ahead and watered them, quart each roughly.. 1ml calmag and pH buffered to 6.1 TDS was 202.

No runoff achieved. Feel like they started showing signs off problems earlier this week and just slowly have been getting worse. Will see what they llook like tomorrow after watering this afternoon. Went ahead and rased the lights another 3" just n case and trned the dimmer all the way down just to make sure, as someone suggested it light stress as well.

Looks like a bit of nitrogen toxicity to me.....lower the nutes a little bit, being coco you should be watering to around 15/20% runoff each time to avoid excess salt build up:thumbsup:

I didn't give it any today. The last time I used nutes, it was 5ml/gallon. Should cut canna a/b to 2.5ml/galllon?(I did use cal mag, 1ml/gallon - not sure if that counts as nutes)

As coco contains 0 nutes on its own, feeding plain water is a nono! Next time she needs water I'd drop my nutes by 20-30% of previous rate and keep up with the cal/mg

ok. So watered today TDS was 410, pH was 6.1. 1.5ml of calmag, 3ml of canna a and b each. All diluted in 1.5 gallons.
humidity has been kept at around 55% and room/tent temp is staying at 71 since getting the window unit setup.

lower branches are just laying flat and looking sad. The dimpling some of the leaves had going on the edges is disappearing. The clawing looks like it may be curling worse?

the last one is the mango and it seems to be doing great getting the exact same treatment the NCH has been getting.

part of me is kicking myself for going coco. Should have just done soul for my first grow, but I have all the time in the world so thought the coco would be manageable.

should I expect thesecurled leaves to correctif they’re getting better? How do I tell when or if things are getting better or worse? Feels like this has been 1-2 weeks of issues just slowly festering up with this one.
