Lighting Citizen 1812 build from Cobshop.net

Yea I tried the mars trend. The lights were good if you were looking for an entry level LED light or need something for 1-2 plants and kinda stealthy. I won't say I'm a master grower by any means but my results are very very good compared to my friends. (His 6000w gavita room pulling around 8-12 lbs vs my 600w hps getting around 17-21O per run)
I'm excited. If the light can get my a good pull like my current set up for essentially 300w less I'll be extatic. Cob should pull 380~w at the wall so 200w savings there plus 100w in a extract fan. Not to mention AC running etc...
this is my current run 12/12 from rooted clone in a 3x3 flood tray. There are 11 plants total. Colas are about the size of solo cups lol nirvana bubblicious. If you haven't tried it make it your next purchase.

this things are pretty dense! I really like my set up now. i got it dialed in pretty good but there is ALWAYS room for improvement. And I like to reinvest in my hobby so ive tried almost every "basic" set up. By that i mean nothing crazy like a 6ft vertical grow with 196 plants in a SOG circle around a 1000w. LOL

Last harvest is done it’s currently curing. I have 55” from the bottom of my net pots to the roof. The light is about 6” tall and the strain I’m running can get to 36” tall on some plants. So do you think like 12” away from the plants will be ok? I should have more room depending on how tight the light makes the nodes.

You can always pull down the taller branches. I haven’t grown a pole in ages after seeing what a little training can do. Once you pull down the tallest branch dozens more run up to take its place. 12” is to close

Cool I thought so. Well I’m getting everything cleaned up this weekend and going to start the seeds as well so I’ll have that journal going hopefully by next week.

Well I got the light in and I must say it’s pretty comparable to my 600w as far as brightness. The only difference is that the cob fixture has a much more even light spread!! It’s still under construction because I didn’t realize the fixture was going to be this big compared to my space lol.

Well got some beans soaking and the light passed a 24hr on test. Still currently running. Nothing is hot or even warm. I’m very surprised that there is actually almost no heat from this thing!! I can only feel it on the back side of my hand if I put it right under the chip.
Well thread going to start soon. I’ll post link here where I start it.
