Day #84...
Wow time flies! The last three are hanging in there. I check trichs daily and it looks like they all should be done this week some time.

I snuck a CQ nugg out of the jars on Friday night... HOLY COW has that girl got some punch! I mean I'm still smoking Gorilla Glue and CLDC so I'm used to strong weed but damn she's good! Can't wait to see what she's like in a few weeks after curing properly.

So yesterday was an indoor day. First time in three weeks it's rained so I cracked on with the CBD MCT oil tinctures.
First I got the Ardent Nova (Lift) out and decarboxylated everything. 22.2g bud and 20.9g sugar trim.

After decarb it all got mixed together and placed in a double boiler with 1ltr MCT oil. I brought the water up to the boil then reduced the heat down to 3 (on my electric hob). I let it simmer away for 6hrs stirring every 30 minutes.

I then sterilised the 30ml tincture bottles ready for bottling.

And we're done... with lots to spare for making hand cream.

It's odd, looks nice and green in the tincture but when you have the full batch together it's purple.
Anyway tried a 1ml serving sublingually last night. It tastes exactly like it smells, kinda sweet, floral but earthy at the same time.
It only took about 15 minutes before I felt my neck and shoulders relax. Pain in my neck vanished and just a general good vibe feeling.

We'll see how the weather is today. Maybe I'll get the cream finished off today?

Day #91... chop day

The last three came down today. ZOG was around 10 days over, MS and HBH were almost bang on time.
Really impressed the way this grow went. Very smooth from beginning to end without any major problems. I got enough Dinafem KUSH CBD to make 10 MCT tinctures, some hand balm and body butter for friends and family.

Before I show the chop pics, here's some nice bud porn of Cosmic Queen all cured:

She's everything I imagined and more! Dang she's strong too.
Final cured weight: 39g (~1.4oz)

Tent overview before chop (some great autumnal colours):

HBH back left
ZOG back right
MS front and centre

All three gals were trimmed in the spinpro and weighed after.

Mango Smile:

She stinks! Like rotting flesh or a really old cheese. I didn't realise how sweet Zkittles was until MS was removed from the tent. Absolutely honking!
Wet weight: 172.7g (so I'd expect ~33g cured).

Zkittles OG:

Sweet sweet candy. A real treat for the old smell receptors. I'm really glad I did a second run on her. This round was just awesome.
Wet weight: 446.0g (so I'd expect ~85.8g cured).

Hubbabubbahaze:

By far the tallest girl and the floppiest (kinda similar to the one @water farm grew). Light on the old nose (compared to the other two anyway) but clearly bubblegum. Sweet and aromatic. Can't wait to try her.
Wet weight: 400.7g (so I'd expect ~77g cured).

All in all a good run. Should keep my stocks up for a while anyway. If the last three cure to the figures I expect, that's 8.4oz from for plants (leaving CBD out of the final). I'm happy with that.

Battles are up next but I've got some modifications to do first so I'm not sure on a start date yet?
fit the UVB lights to the light frame,
shorten the light frame,
move the tent around a bit,
fit an old pallet to the flooring,
Fit bracing bars to the sides of the tent,
change the smart plugs around... plus plenty more to get on with.

Should've added that the spinpro saved me 155g (wet) of sugar leaves and trim too which I'll be doing some bubble hash with. It's a mic of the three plants and once dried I'll add the CQ trim to.

So today I've been busy with my tent mods.
After discussing with @Hazyrook I emailed RapidLED to confirm if I had the lights wired correctly. The reason for this was because I noticed on my smart plug the draw was only 170W with both drivers on full tilt (they're rated at 640W combined for 8 pucs).
Their response was swift, like within 15 minutes. To cut a long story short they advised my to wire in parallel when I bought them. Turns out that was misinformation and I should've wired in series.
Out of curiosity I downloaded a lux meter app and did a before and after to see if there was much difference? To try to keep things fair the phone was 30" below puc faces during all measurements and pot set on max.

I'm astounded with the improvement. It's simply blinding. I just hope it's not too much now?

I also setup the UVB lights for the SSSC battle, braced the sides of the tent, installed 2 new tube heaters, a pallet to raise the floor and a couple other small amendments.

Besides fixing mistakes and doing mods to the tent, HBH, MS & ZOG all went into jars with boveda's today too. We'll give them a week or so to get the RH nice and I'll update with a final cured weigh in.

Once I have the tent the way I'm after I'll post some pics.

Now the lights are wired correctly and 4x brighter than before and with the additional 2x UVB tubes, I'm itching to get started on the battles.

Morning all,

It's been a while since I've posted here due to the recently completed battles I was entered into.
Results were outstanding in all strains but I had some major issues early on and on the final chop for a few.
Anyway, lessons learnt, now onto the next...

I dropped these beans on the 7th October in the usual AutoPots with Biobizz lightmix and BioTabs full range. Had life above ground in the 12th. That takes them to day #14 end of week 2 tomorrow.

So this run we have in the tent:

Mephisto Genetics
2 x Sweet n Sour
1 x Orange Diesel

SeedStockers
1 x Blackberry Gum

All environmentals are looking spot on, meaning the VPD is bang on at 0.7. Should be an interesting grow. SnS is a favourite of mine so it'll be nice to compare to the last run I did of her to see how consistent she is.

I'm off to work for a few weeks tomorrow so I'll update as and when I can.

VPD's spot on, girl's are looking healthy apart from one of the Sweet n Sour's. When I woke up this morning to check her over the IP cameras, she'd gone all droopy
They're all receiving the same conditions so I can only imagine she has a water issue?
Fingers crossed, she'll perk up again...
