New Grower Chiefs 1st grow - Northern Lights and Ultraviolet

Yea i like CFL cuz they are just HUGE lol But id rather have LEDs lol CFL is just here in my face and quick fix but LED YUMMY!

Does anyone know if it's normal for certain auto strains to not have any bud growth by day 46? I'm starting to wonder if they're ever going to flower. There are pistils everywhere...just no bud formations yet.

I'm also going to switch to bloom nutes on their next watering. I'm shooting for these girls to be done around day 80.

Yea its fine ..dif strain dif phenos dif conditions ..dont worry about how long ..just wait til vert growth stops then hit it with bloom slowly..u will be fine!Gratz on the tent and stuff!!!

Thanks Doobie. I'm just impatient I guess. I see other grows where you see buds forming at day 30, and both of mine just have about 2 pistils on each pre-flower...and they've been that way for about 2 weeks now. Some of them have also turned orange/reddish already.

If upward growth has slowed down or stopped .start light feeding bloom.

That's exactly what I did today, because I've noticed that they haven't got that much taller in the past week. Upward growth has slowed down significantly. So I started the Ultraviolet off with 1/4 strength bloom nutes, and I'll do the same with the NL either tomorrow or Saturday. Hopefully that will kick them in gear and start makin me some delicious buds. HaHaHa. :chief:

I gave the NL it's first taste of bloom nutes today as well.
