Evening/Morning all :smoking:

I have recently been doing some reading up on these Advanced Nutrients and their ph perfect formulas. I'm currently using the flora series trio, plus calmag, plus some other supplementary stuff, growing in coco. A few questions:

- How good are the AN stuff generally, in particular the pH perfect Sensi Coco grow A&B ?

- Would it be advised to change nutrients one month into a grow or wait? I like the idea of less bottles to store and less things to mess up.

- Can the pH perfect nutes be used with other external supplements (eg Regen-a-root, Rhizotonic etc) and still do the job?

- Another reason I'm considering the switch is because I'm using an airstone in an autopot reservoir, which causes the pH to fluctuate, but is important to oxygenate the water and keep nutrients mixed while I'm not around. I'm hoping the pH perfect stuff would be able to keep this in check.

I have someone who would buy my Trio off me, and CalMag, so money isn't an issue - I'm just wondering on the above points. If anyone has any info that would be great!

Respect

No one?? There are loads of AN users on here, wisdom please!

@Hansbricks @TaNg you both use AN don't you? Don't suppose you could help me out quick?! Sorry for the tag but having no luck!

Hay bro, personally I would switch over at the end of this grow and the only add on I would use that's not AN is Calmag...I did try Bloombastic once but didn't get on with it although I loved the smell lol.

@TaNg cheers for the reply. Apparently their new coco sensi series already deals with that calmag issue, would you still say include it in light of this? Or did you know that already lol. Also do you think the pH stuff would work while being bubbled by an air stone constantly? Saw the pH jump from 5.8 to 6.1 overnight and thats only with it on at 15 mins/hour.

Cheers

What's up brother, I use the AN line as well. It's top shelf stuff. It's designed to be absorbed over a wider range of ph so even if it goes up a bit the plants will still thrive. If ypu look around this site you'll see a good bit of the top growers use AN. There is a reason for that it works. Hans runs his in auto pots with regular nute from ph perfect line and his plant are spotless. I have an autopot system on the way and I'll be doing the same

@A-Train I think I'll change next grow, see if it makes any difference. It was Hans's TD grow which made me consider the alternative! There's nothing wrong with my current line, it's just the daily pH fluctuation with the airstone is annoying me now, having to continually adjust. Last grow there were no pH problems, but no airstone. However, this made my water and nutes separate and smell funny after a few days. I also heard using an airstone in the res is a good idea. Let me know how you get on with your autopot system!

Hey, I'm a beginner, so I may be wrong, but I think the answer to the above question is no - at least as far as the ph value goes. The nutritional value of course remains but the ph isn't guaranteed at that point. Someone more experienced will correct me if I'm mistaken, but my understanding is that for the ph perfect buffer to work, all added nutes have to be from the ph perfect lineup. If you add other brands, I would definitely measure ph at least for the first few batches of water to see if the other brand nutes change the ph at all.
