I got a couple of questions on CFL's.
1. What is a good amount of wattage per plant?
2. What bulbs are good for autos(6500k or 2700k, etc)?
3. Anyone know of a way/piece that will allow it to go from socket to prong?

Thanks in advance

Well how big of a grow area do you have. That will depend on how much light you need. I grow in a 2 1/2 foot box and I have 4 26 W cfls in mine. Which I believe is equal to 400 Watts. As far as which ones to use, I use 3 6500k and one 2700k for vegging stage. When it goes into full flower I change them all to 2700k. Hope this helps. Somebody who has more experience should drop by later to give ya a hand. One love and good luck.

2700k for flowering,6500k for veg.You can get soket to prong adapters at walmart menards, home depot, and most hardware stores.Thats what I use and plug them in to a multiple plug strip and mount them on a furnace duct lined with mylar. You can also add a y splitter and have two lights per plug.:smokebuds:

50 watts per square foot is a good place to be. I've tried 100 and it will stunt small plants. I haven't done any testing with different spectrums but lately have been using the 65k bulbs for small plants.

id aim closer for 75 with cfl
