My mother in laws dog has seizures and I was wondering if CBD could help a dog. I know it helps people and was probably tested on animals but does anyone have experience with this?

I have been learning about this the last week as im hoping to make medibles for my aging pooch,

he too has seizures like your mother in laws dog and also arthritis and old age problems so I will hopefully be able to report back to you in the next week or so.

Im going to give small portions and see how he takes it. but im hoping the low dose edibles will do the trick

This is the recipe im following and should make for approx 90 small treats.
I will be activating 2g of cotton candy flowers to 1/2 cup of coconut oil with gently heat prior to making the below.

2 Cups of Hemp Flour, 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder, 1 Cup of Peanut butter, 1/2 Cup of low fat milk mixed with 1/2 cup of coconut oil infused mmj.

Once mixed to a dough i intend to bake for 20-30mins at 370. use a cookie cutter or bottle lid to make bite sized portions

anyways i will keep you updated :tiphat:

Thanks for the input. I hope your recipe helps your dog. I'm going to try that recipe after I harvest in a few weeks. Please do keep me updated. I love animals and hate seeing them suffer.

Me and my wife were just talking about giving our dog oil for her seizures!

I was just the other day think on making dog treats for my 12 year old shepard with horrible hips. It would just ease her pain or help her sleep a bit better as she is restless 80% of the time.

its horrible seeing them suffer, i hope it works

please know i have not tried the recipe yet so the dose may be too low but i think less is more to start out.

I also plan to grind the flower into powder and leave it in the coconut oil mix once heated as i think the whole bud has more medicinal properties than the resin glands alone.

this is the link to the recipe i have based mine on.

Yes, less is more. I was thinking 1.5 grams per dozen treats to start out. I was planning on just making a recipe up by kind of modifying an existing one. Ingredients I was thinking about flour, oats, peanut butter, bacon (possibly the fat as well) and finally coconut oil for the herb.
Quantity still unknown..

been held up but have all the ingredients so will be baking this weekend.

Im wondering if i should use my AVB so their is little THC left what do you guys think? Would anything usefull be left for medication?
I vape my flowers at 400 for about 1 to 2 mins per 0.3g serve or the time it takes to fill 2 bags from a Vapir Rise and the color is tobacco brown with green specs.

Maybe I could do add half a cup of AVB and not use fresh herb, opinions appreciated

thanks again
