Indoor Carbon Filter question

I like the look of that one ALOT it looks space age really. Tad bit expensive but when you figure you don't need the speed controller and or a duct muffler it pays for itself.

Could I get away with a slightly cheaper filter until I can save up enough for a phresh filter?

Obviously the combo you listed works or you wouldn't use/mention it so I am sold on it mainly for the reason that the big long post I made about the Panasonic conversion seems complicated at best although it could potentially be slightly cheaper.

I will just save some money up for a few pay periods and get what you mentioned unless you guys can figure out if the Panasonic idea is simple enough and efficient enough to even compete with the HVAC/PHRESH filter combo mentioned here.

Okay that's the one I was eyeballing cause its affordable for me and I want to say that I was looking at it just before I came to check up on this thread. Honestly I was confused (noob) as to whether the fan speed controller would be effective paired up with the ventech combo on amazon but you say it is so I believe you on that.

Now the question is would that be just as stealth as the HVAC and Phresh filter mentioned above.

There is a price difference obviously but if either one will do naturally I will go with the cheaper ventech combo and fanspeed controller and just get the HVAC/PHRESH for a birthday present to myself down the line.

Would the Ventech combo use more power and how long would I need to run it each day to keep the room unsmelly and mostly dust free?

The Hvac combo is slick but the ventech is cheap...choices.

Also wanted to mention the space I need this for is a tiny closet but I would also like it to be able to clean dust out of the air in a rather small bedroom. I don't care if it has to run 5 hours or 12 hours daytime really since power draw is low in general. As long as she's quiet and keeps my place smelling clear and free.

Yeah I dig ya on the whole for bathrooms thing I was just looking for the quietest thing even if it meant repurposing a bathroom fan =).

The combo on amazon and the hvac phresh combo are obviously the way to go.
