Hello all.... I need some advice guys... im looking to start my growing operation year round and I have been presented with several issues. I have an attic space I can use but the space, logistics heating and cooling is going to be very difficult to work out. My only other option is a closet with a tent but the only thing holding back the OK from my wife is the smell from the last grow and having to cover it when people were around wich will be a lot more frequent during the summer.

My question is do carbon scrubber systems hooked to a tent actually work and to what effectiveness? I dont mind the smell while.im in the tent tinkering getting out but during a normal day with tent sealed and scrubber running can you smell the plants on the outsifde of the tent

Over size your fan and scrubber, also don't go with an off brand, I use two but my room is much larger then a tent. When i had my 4 x 8 tent i used a 6 x 24 inch phresh filter it works great when the tent was sealed, once you open it..... in full on flower.... it leaks the smell. ALso consider taking secondary measures like automatic scent sprays and plugins around the home.

The filters absolutely work. I have a phresh filter and the cops have knocked on the door several times (break-ins in the neighborhood) with no problems.

atrain, I agree with Albert and Lyka. Buy a quality filter. I've purchased several "bargain" filters from eBay and Amazon and still have odor issues during flower. A Phresh filter is the next thing on my shopping list.

:goodluck:

Thanks for all the input and quick responses guys... ill def be looking into a phresh filter during setup
