My temps are around 82F I just built this box out of an old dresser, it's 30x14x48 I have a 4 inch inline fan sucking are out and a hole in the bottom for new air to enter through, I've been testing the box using a pineapple express and a shortrider that I stunted using hot soil that way I can get everything perfect for my next grow, are there any tricks for keeping temps down?

Forgot to say that there is 10 23 watt cfl's in there and the room temp outside the box is about 75F.

82 isn't that bad really. I see people upwards of 74 on here sometimes. What kind of lights are you using? What speed is your fan on? What are your ambient temps? As in the temp in the room that the box is in...

Edit: I meant upwards of 84 obviously.

Guess we posted at the same time. That seems like a lot of lights to me for that space. I'm no expert though. You can try getting more ambient air in. How big is your passive intake hole?

The intake is probably six inches and also the dresser sits of the floor about 1 inch so it can get air through the bottom, I am only going to grow 2 plants in there should I remove some of the lights?

I have definitely seen grows that size with fewer lights. Look around on the cfl grow section and the micro grows and you'll get a good gauge for what I mean. Maybe put the dresser partially over an AC vent on the floor and it will def cool it down. Or run some duct from a vent to the intake.

My AC vents are in the ceiling, I guess I'll try adding a small fan to the intake hole and maybe that'll lower it a few degrees.
