Can't decipher the problem with leaves

I appreciate your help. I was thinking the cal/mag as well and added 30ml to my res top off 24 hours ago. And in the last 24 hours its gotten much worse. I just can't imagine 30 ml of cal/mag in a 50 gal system would be possible of doing much harm.
Calmag is NOT a deficiency.. You either have a calcium issue, a magnesium issue, or both. They are two completely different things, that work two different ways and are treated differently if they happen.. You have way too much calcium in your feeds.. Probably too much magnesium as well now. Too much calcium will lock out magnesium and make it unavailable for the plant to use.. Too much magnesium will lock out calcium and make it unavailable for the plant to use. That looks and sounds like what the issue is. Calcium is locked out due to too much magnesium. Calcium is immobile.. Magnesium is mobile.. You can tell which issue is more serious by the pics.. It's the calcium.. Which is immobile. That's what is so visible on the newer growth (top part of the plant) and not so much as you move down the plant. I am not sure how you correct a lock out in DWC.. I've heard it's by using ph'd zero ppm water only for a fee hours.. But adding more calmag is not the answer.. It will make things worse. 90% of the time adding calmag is NOT the answer. A deficiency does not automatically mean "add more".

I think you are 100% correct. I'm doing a system flush and refill without any calmag supplement.
