NEWS Canadians, I am curious ACMPR timeframe.

Hello fellow Canadians,

If you have an ACMPR, after submitting to Health Canada, how long did it take for your paperwork to come through authorizing you to grow?

My wife will be submitting her paperwork come Wednesday for her perscription.

I have heard 2 weeks as best case, and 6 months or longer as worst case.

I know how the govnt works, I doubt I will see it any earlier than a month, but what are your experiences?

That's great news! So I should be growing lots soon! Cant wait until I get to stay indoors all day tending haha! Get a suntan year round

Did you apply recently?

Also, is there anything special I should keep in mind? Besides the limit of course. Last I heard they dropped the possession limit as rec has none in most provences.... so it didnt make sense...

I hope they send the rules and regulations along with the license.

I got mine last year. It was pretty straight forward. Only bad thing is, you have to renew it every year. I‘m allowed 3g/day which comes out to 15 plants. I only grow 5 and that gives me more than I can smoke. So I do oils and edibles.

Other than that there’s not much to it, really. Where I live, the cops are getting sued because they raided a LP and destroyed the harvest. So now they leave all the medical people alone. If they get a complaint, they call the health department. And if they clear it, they don’t even come by.

Finally they are following proper procedure!

I plan on having 3 copies of the paperwork in my house. Nain door, going to the grow and at the grow itself.

I wouldn’t bother. If you have one in the house, that should do. Even if you don’t, they will likely just call the health department anyways

Took me 3 weeks to get my paperwork back. Not too bad for the gov.
that allows me 25 plants plus 1125 grams in storage.
I can now keep mother plants and clones as 4 was rather limiting.
If only I had a proper grow room instead of the small tent I am using.

We are going on about 3 weeks now, it is "processing" I have the wife calling every Monday asking politely a status update. Hopefully soon!

hey Steviestash, Can you direct me to where the info is for storage amounts. I like to read it on the gov site but can't seem to find it.
