Where's Monsanto when u need them. These corporate cocksuckers will worm and squirm their way into controlling the nutrient market and prolly soon start fucking with the genetics. Isn't there a terminator jean, how bout round up ready weed yummy. I'll stay organic it's cheaper and easy. I was using General Organics it was 25. bucks quart I needed 3 different products, add your seed on that say another 100 bucks. Now add some dirt and stuff easily 100 bucks. So 275. Pluss. For you your first grow. Thats pretty shabby if your only growing 4 plants. Especily if they are lower yielding auto s mind you youll have materials to start the next gro. Im breading my own seed, make my fertiliser, reuse my soil. Save where u can or the alternative is to buy weed from the cartel at 2 - 3 times the black market price.

I think the coco from my first post is better value. Im only a couple weeks intona grow with it but so far so good

I would not recommend mixing organics like worm poop in coco. Coco with hydroton balls is best. I dont care for perlite at all. There is some discussion on the Mephisto board about why not to mix organics with coco. its to do with cation exchange capacity and its in the thread on understated yields.

I like the Canna coco bricks. Canna rinses their coco. Quality is great. Cost is great. And you can resuse coco too, which I'm doing now. So once you buy it, you can just reuse over and over so your cost in peanuts. So why take a chance on some unknown coco from home hardware? I say buy quality coco, whatever that is.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I've been using the coco bricks from HH for years with no issues. $10 for 85 liters of coco can't be beat.

I'm new to growing. Into wk 10 of flower now. Using Co Co, Perlite & small amount Gaia Green "living soil"...Co Co brand is: "Beats Peat" from local (small) garden center. $18 per brick. Here's the description:
(Plantbest Beats Peat all natural Premium coconut coir is the ecofriendly way to improve your soil and is a great alternative to peat moss. Beats Peat has high water retention, improves aeration and drainage, and is pH neutral.) Going with Canna Co Co bricks on this summers run... 20181217_201823.jpg Really enjoying the Co Co medium.

I've got a couple of products I've found at my local Home Hardware that work amazingly well, at least in my humble opinion.

The first is Cannabis RX.

It's a foliar spray made from vermi composting. I've only used it a few times but so far my plants seem to love it. I can't remember the cost, but it wasn't expensive.

The other is a product called Sea Magic.

It's a little pouch of concentrated kelp. It makes 4 litres of concentrated liquid kelp fertilizer and it works! Instructions on the package say to feed at 15ml/L, but after experimentation....and a little nitrogen tox....I found the following works best: 1ml/L for germination, 2ml/L for early veg, 3 to 4ml/L for aggressive veg, back to 2ml/L for flower and discontinue use 2 weeks before flush. For $6.99 you just can't beat it!

Wow. Home Hardware has canna specific fertilizer. A sure sign of the times!

I can't find much information about that Canna RX other than the HH link. Do you who makes it?
