Seed Bank Canadian Autoflower Review

As I mentioned earlier, so far his service in my purchase has been stellar. If the real deal arrives, he has my vote. I will happily pay a bit extra to have him deal with the Mephisto scrum.

I wish him luck getting things sorted with Mephisto, as well as getting additional breeders aboard. I suspect he is going to need some. In the meantime, I will be happy to get my mitts on the seeds I ordered.
ya Im just chatting with him now,....said if he can get Fastbuds at a better price than true north id be very interested

Just curious, what does a seller have to do to be legitimate? What is the administrative difference between a legitimate seller, and someone else that sells the same seeds?

A legitimate reseller purchased the seeds directly from us and received sealed packs. If this reseller didn't purchase directly from us then we cannot verify the authenticity of the seeds or give the seed bank our vote of confidence. All the seed banks we supply in the US we maintain a close relationship and are happy to advertise for them and recommend people use their service. The seed banks listed on the retailers page have all received their stock within the last 3 months or so we know they have fresh product and aren't sitting on old stock.

We would supply more seed banks in Canada if we could get more stock to Canada in a timely manner. There just ins't enough stock in Canada to do seed bank orders at this time. Now we did just finish our first seed run in Canada so in the future stocking seed banks will be a priority, but for now the Mephisto Canada store is the only place to get Mephisto in Canada.

The fact that this reseller is using our strain images and information without our permission should be a red flag to anyone.

Thanks for the clarification Stan, much appreciated.

Further update on my order. The shipment was received by Canada Post the same day that I made the order, which I view as exceptional service. The seeds should be here early next week, and I will report back then. Sadly, it now seems that I will have a full house on this grow, so I will not be germinating any of the seeds any time soon.

Final update. My seeds arrived yesterday, picked up at the mailbox today.

Seeds received were 3 Four Assed Monkey, 3 Fugue State, and 3 freebie Northern Bear (Northern Cheese Haze x 3 Bears OG).

Pics of all below.

Bottom line is that the seeds appear genuine, and the freebie is interesting to me. Since the seed zip lock was not heat sealed by Mephisto, it is of course possible that the seeds have been replaced with something other than Mephisto, but that seems a long shot to me. The zip lock and security label appear perfect to me. There is no way of knowing how old the seeds are or how carefully they have been stored, so that much at least is a crap shoot, one that, sadly, I will not be testing until my grow next winter, at least not unless one of the current ladies croaks unexpectedly. Total cost was $110 Cdn, including $20 expedited tracked shipping.

Overall, it is my impression that Canadian Autoflower is a small operation that is trying hard to get started. Their service and communication is as good as I have experienced, and the stock seems genuine, but it seems that they have some administrative stuff to sort out with Mephisto, and they need to get some more breeders on board, preferably officially.

Happy seed hunting peeps, and good luck @canadian_autoflower getting your operation developed further. If anyone jumps aboard, and grows some of their stuff, please document for the rest of us.

My seeds took 4 business days to arrive from Canadian Autoflowers. Super fast delivery, great price and amazing communication. Im going to be doing a separate journal for a couple of the strains they sent to me
