Just curious, what does a seller have to do to be legitimate? What is the administrative difference between a legitimate seller, and someone else that sells the same seeds?

for me personally I feel its a bigger roll of the dice on what I am getting if its not a legit seller. I feel more confident ordering from True North. But hey thats just me

Each to his or her own. I agree that a purchase from him is a dice roll at the moment, but I am willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt for now and see what transpires. It would be really nice to have another reliable supplier of good genetics in Canada, so I hope that he manages to get things sorted with Mephisto, and gets some other breeders aboard.

For the record, I have nothing against TNSB, and have dealt with them successfully in the past. I just have no interest in their non-auto freebies, and they seem to usually be out of stock on strains that I am interested in. If they had stock that I wanted, and the price ignoring the poor freebies was ok, I would order from them in a heartbeat.

Anyway, I hope you manage to find seeds that you are interested in. You could also have a look at Seedsman. Their stock is good, and the prices reasonable. The order that I did recently with them was perfect, although slow given the pandemic.

Seedsman is a good bet, but do not depend on quick shipping from them right now. They were already slow when I ordered weeks ago, and the pandemic is lots worse now, so be patient. Not all of their freebies are autos either, so be careful deciding on the basis of freebies. Their very strong suit is their huge selection, including some great genetics.

Well you know what I would do because I did it. Shipping is the same $20 for six seeds or three, hence my grabbing six.

Good luck with your decision. My stuff should show up before long and I will report right away if that might help, but I am unlikely to plant any right away.

haha I rolled the dice, granted I only ordered 3. If its legit and he gets more in stock Ill buy more. Im ACMPR for 98 plants.

As I mentioned earlier, so far his service in my purchase has been stellar. If the real deal arrives, he has my vote. I will happily pay a bit extra to have him deal with the Mephisto scrum.

I wish him luck getting things sorted with Mephisto, as well as getting additional breeders aboard. I suspect he is going to need some. In the meantime, I will be happy to get my mitts on the seeds I ordered.
