Old Reviews Can someone help me with my Cooltube. It doesen´t work.

How the f**k do i connect the wires on my new cooltube. I have tried all combinations. I have one brown, and one red, and one greenbrown (ground).

I have been waiting, and i was really looking forward to get my cooltube. And when i got it today, i can´t get any light out of it. :cry:

Now i just connected my old reflector to the 400w digital ballast now. It works, and it´s cool. But i want to have my f**king cooltube.

If you need some info in order to help me, just post and i will write you. I´m home all night.

hey hejdaman,

I am an electrician and looking at your post I am a little baffled. Normally brown or red is + and you would have a black or blue. For example, if + is red you would have a blue or black - wire color. If you brown is + you would have a blue - wire. In all cases you should have a yellow/green PE(earth ground) wire or at the least it should be green. Are you sure you are not color blind? Just kidding. Give me a model number for the tube and I will see if I can find an electrical diagram, or if the tube came with an electrical diagram post a picture and I will give you some information.

Thank you, Bama. I figured it out. I was way off. It was a little tricky, becouse i was supposed to connect on the bottom of the socket. It was really hard to reach where the wires wore supposed to go.

I have some pics. I am really satisfied.





This is how i have my exhaust.


And this is my intake. I take fresh cold air from outside. It still getting really hot, so i will probably need a new ex-fan.


Now, for the first time in my life, i own a MH-bulb. I am really exited to see what it can do.


Bought new nutes btw.

Thanks Bama. I am real pleased with it too. The only prob is that i need a new ex-fan. I am planning on buying one in the beginning of next month. And maybe then i won´t have to have the window open as wide as i have it now. It´s getting kinda cold in the evenings.
