Cambodian auto

suuuup brothers! I've got a couple ones started 8 days ago . Pure Ukrainian Rudys ^_^
My siberian ruderalis are about the same size as those now, two weeks old and barely visible. Breeder description says starting flowering in 3-5 weeks after bresking soil. Can't imagine them starting flowering in one or two weeks, they haven't even grown!

Buds are not very tight, might be good for outdoors. F1 is still early, pheno selection for bud structure and other traits will have to wait until f3.

Ya don't bother till f2 f3 from my 5yrs of breeding experience even f2 can be to early depending on the crop and how stable it is. Real excited to see these love me some land races.

Shark bite on the left(mostly indica).
Micron auto tao in the center(mostly ruderalis)...notice the nodal spacing??
Dr.Feelgood on the right(mostly sativa).

Do you find the Dr.Feelgood sativa leaning pheno also has a sativa high? That's the strain I reluctantly used for auto genes for my cambo cross. I like it on its own as a non feminized, decent cbd dwarf strain, but I thought it was not the best cultivar to cross with a sativa landrace if I want to keep the sativa pheno. It sure will help to bring down size and flowering time, though. I have only found stout indica phenos in Dr.Feelgood. I guess you have diligently searched for sativa leaning phenos, which I reckon are very rare. Being on f5-f6 now, I guess you have found a few.
It was funny discovering that you have left info of the strain on seed finder! You and kushnft must be the ones with most experience with dr.feelgood on this forum..

There are indeed 2 main phenos.
And, yes great catch.
I did pheno hunt for the sativa leaning type.
There are very few quality dwarves out there on the market.
There's only one other nut case like myself working these dwarves, called Stitch .
One advantage to wrking with the same strain all the time. Is becoming very intimate with your plants growing behavior .
When I will be ready to market my hybrids .
The seeds will come with an actual owners manual of sorts  & a guarantee :headbang: .
I'm in Canada. We can grow 4 plants per household( legally).
Not the case in many countries.
So the answer in these countries is STEALTH.
Guess what my products is???
Ahum:yeahthat:

The issue you will have with your cross.
Is that pretty much any Rudetalis based Auto you use in your cross ( which is roughly 95%), the 5% being pure Rudys.

This trait from the rudys weakens the THC level.
Seems to me the Cambo ia a relatively tall sativa as well.
Was the intent of using DFG as a strain to lower the height?
If I were you, with this objective.
I would have chosen Taomatic autos instead.
I've grown 3 strains from Buddha seeds so far. Taomatic, canary, and of course micro. All with very good success.
I found their Taomatic to flower in about 3 weeks and ready for harvest in less than 75 days ( and this is rare).

D.FG was the only male auto I had when it was time to pollenate the cambos. Stealth is not an issue in this cross, I would like the auto version to look as similar as the Cambo as possible.
I would have preferred an even more sativa leaning auto, but my other regular autos all turned out female..
I think I might be able to find sativa leaning phenos in f2 and f3. If not, I will still work the crosses and see what I get in the end. I plan on backcrossing to the Cambodian three times as well. That might result in a taller pheno when I finally arrive at f3 the third time. There are better options for autoflowering pollen donors out there.
I will soon receive some seeds of auto jack herer from la Buena hierba, those will definitely be a lot more sativa leaning. I plan on using their pollen on another Cambo. Interesting to see the difference..

You mean Top Tao Seeds? I've been very skeptical of them, not finding much info when searching for commercial autos in regular seed form. I see they still use the same photo of Early Top Tao in their catalogue. The nanner in the budshot made me steer away from those breeders.
I like that they don't do fem autos, but I decided to go elsewhere for regular autos until I learn more about them. Good to hear that you've been pleased with them!

My bad, yes top tao.
My experience with them in a nutshell.
Great plants ONCE they germinate.
I suspect old stock at the banks.
Which is why , for me priority 1 is breeding purchased seeds to have a fresh supply.
From that point on I pheno hunt.
