Live Stoner Chat Calling seed vendors. Could you be small breeder seed distributor, or is it but a dream?

US "customers" can use UPS "The UPS store" as a mailto and pickup location. Like a secure locker with a street address, their name, but no real identifying info.
Oh Really?

I would grow the strains you created out. And log them all. Then create a website and sell them on your own. Advertise by asking around growing forums if you can become a vendor and sponsor grow battles from time to time. That's how I wud go about it.

The internet is an amazing thing. Richest man in the world Jeff Bezos created Amazon starting selling books from his garage and then expanded and sold other things and now hes the richest man in the world. Online sales can make you some loot selling seeds if you can prove your name and strains. People will start buying from you if u do it right. Then maybe from there vendors will be buying seeds from you to sell if you make a name for yourself. Or then you can talk to them at that point also and try to work something out. But make a site and a name for yourself first.

Come up with a catchy breeder name that will catch others attention also. And cool strain names. It's all about marketing. And gaining trust like others have said

Testing the water is all I'm doing. I'm not even at the point of releasing any seeds into the public domain yet, just seeing if there's any appetite for it.
best way to drum up interest is some straight up bud porn if your plants look good they will get rid of themselves and theres plenty of ways to distribute beans these days look at all these insta boys poppin up outta no where next thing there selling out either way like i said its a interesting topic to chat about

Did you try via the admin/moderator team on here to try and get your seeds out to some people?
I can't say that I did, to be honest. I'm pretty sure that seed distribution etc is against the terms of service (or something), it was certainly a no-no at one point.

I know that I could just send the seeds out myself to willing people, but I'd rather involve AFN legitimately as this is my go-to place.

:smoking: Nice', have you chatted with AutoBeanstalk here? DC Seed Exchange, Oregon Elite too,...
Also, maybe share some seeds privately with some select AFN homies... It's all good if parties agree on info terms in PM, just no open exchange talk in the form itself, all PM's until things are more official. The No Seed swap/sale/beg/whatever is against TOS with general members in open forum due to legal issue with AFN liability, etc.,...
Document some grows as an "unofficial" group is usually the first step to becoming an Indie' Breeder in status.... "testers" and such! :rolleyes2:
Let's see what the Bosses say too, so stand by mate :smoking:

Cheers for the clarification. I will take all that on, and proceed as directed.

Yeah I know about the seed distribution rules and to be honest, I do think it's best if they keep them fairly strict and enforced.
My thinking here was that instead of sending seeds to people you have an agreement with via PM's, if you instead could document a type/strain of seed or maybe two or three even, and thensend some documentation and a bunch of seeds to the site administrators to evaluate and get selected people to test for a few grows, everything working out you could/would get a better verified reputation for your work.

That seems like a viable option that would at least get him further down the path to where he wants to be.
