That's pretty normal from my experience.So her cola has like 90% or more of the hairs dark red or rusty colored but 10% or less still white.
It's a combination and it's not an exact science because a perfect effect for one person isn't desirable for another. Most pistils are gonna turn red on the plant, many before it's time to harvest and new pistils can pop out well into amber sometimes. So, I don't go by pistils.I'm asking all these questions because I'm wondering do you just watch the trichs and nothing else?? I was thinking it's a combo between Trichs, leaves, and hairs but I'm assuming I'm dead wrong now
I use leaf die-off as an indication it is time to start checking the trich's and try to use them as a final guide.
Brother, if you time it perfectly at this point, it'll just be luck. You really don't know what stage is perfect for you until you've grown the strain a few times. From what I've seen, that plant looks far enough along that you will just have to make a decision and take it at some point very soon. It's gonna be good either way.
