Various strains, via various intake tools, but no combustion.
Problem: see pic of problem fan leaf plus apparently ok new growth

Medium/grow method: Sunshine #4 plus perlite

Feed: and supplements used: problem started while still on water only.

water source: ~50 EC stream water/melted snow

Strain/age: problem started at about day 15, Seedsman Auto Strawberry Cheesecake

light used: DIY screw in array, currently at ~50 wall watts/sq.ft, ~2 feet from canopy

Climate: 24C and ~50% humidity

Additional info:
I figured that this was calcium/magnesium deficiency about when I put the plant on the Autopot reservoir at ~Day 16. It seems to me that I just left it on water only too long, but I am a bit surprised that the SS#4 would show this strong a CalMag issue in the absence of a nitrogen problem. Since I put the the plant on autopot irrigation, nute mix is a total EC of ~600 (~45 water, 150 Cal Mag, 400 Mega Crop II, and yucca). Seems to me that all new growth is coming in ok, but am interested in others' opinions. Absent contrary advice or further deterioration, I plan to leave it on current mix to see how the new growth does over the next week or so.

Sorry about the lack of a whole plant pic, but I ran out of battery.

None now. I cut them off, there were three. The plant looks fine now that it is on nutes. As i suspected, I left it off nutes too long. I had assumed that I would see signs of N shortage first, but that did not happen. Turns out that SS#4 runs out of calcium first. A surprise to me.

Thanks for checking in. :thanks:

Looks like a ph fluctuation to me.

Unlikely, slurry test was~6.3, feed consistently 6.3-6.5 Both before nutes and since. :pighug:
Yeah just what it looked like to me. I believe you though. That's what a ph fluctuation has always appeared on my plants if it was off.

Hey, as you point out, pH is as often as not an issue. It is usually my first suspicion in absence of other information. Which is why I am careful with it - learned that the hard way, although thanks to the help here, I caught in time before damage was done. My Apera meter is hanging on my growdrobe door.

And just in case you are wondering, here she is on ~Day24 after this morning's LST adjustments:

Happy growing @NorthernLights_420, and thanks again for checking in. :pighug:
