Never knew about Cal/mag until now.

Am I right to say that Cal/mag (I do not know any other words for it, I am sure it is short for something) can be fed from tap water? In that case will PPM of the water say something about how much?

My tap water is: PH 6,8 and PPM 25.

My plants are 37? days now and have never been fed Cal/mag. They also got fed AN grow/micro first time for a short week ago - do this help with Cal/mag?

This is probably why 4 of my plants have had issues in the lower half the past couple of weeks? (Together with no nutrients for too long as I had to wait for them)

If I am right now, and of course I could be so far off now (thanks to :bong:) What can I buy locally in my supermarket or garden center to use for this grow?

Just when I thought there were no more mistakes left to actually do..

What are you using as nutrients? Some have all you need. Cal is Calcium and Mag is Magnesium. Some nutrients give plenty of Magnesium but not enough calcium so you might just need a Calcium only supplement.

I use advanced nutrients PH perfect trio: grow, bloom, micro

If your using the advanced properly you shouldn't need the cal/mag.

Are you mixing it grow and micro only?

I started way late with the nutrients and that is why ..

The good news is my plants have recovered big time and looks sweet.

Good that they are recovering for you

Still didn't answer how you are mixing it though...lol

If you are only using the micro and grow you still might run into problems as you need to use all 3 bottles together for it to work properly.

Is it all bottles from the beginning to the end?

Like I talked about here:
https://www.autoflower.org/f2/advanced-nutrition-auto-question-8560.html

If so, I think the right way was to use only grow and micro and then bloom and micro. Also it can be a good idea with autoflower to go half an half with grow/bloom for one to two weeks.

If it was correct to use all three together it would make no sense due to the fact that the main ingredients in grow and bloom are the same but in different variables.

I spent a long time checking out the answer to this since the nutrient calculator and the bottle say all three all the time, but it is not the right way in the end.

If you have some information that I have missed, please let me know so we can share it with this great community :)

this one is a great one with info about AN:

I use all 3 bottles right from beginning to end

If you are having good luck like that than by all means keep on going :D

When i tried it that way it didn't work out to well for me and then for my last run i tried like they say and have seen better growth and trich production.

Ok. My biggest three plants are all over 90 cm and they are stated to reach 50 - 75 cm. And those plants have been heavily abused. That together with the rational explanation that grow and bloom have the same ingredients but only in different ratios I keep doing it this way :)

I was really looking here to find an answer to that question though. When I found it I followed the answer and my plants saved themself.

But I agree with you - whatever is working for you is the right way :smokebuds:

I am a new grower so I will be experimenting a lot some of my girls in the future.

Are you going full dosage? It would be cool to know because if you do that it means my plants can take more of the grow or bloom formula then maximum dosage. It would be nice to know.

I only run it 1/2 strength

Your just going to have to go experiment like you said to find out what suits your plants best.

Just go slow and work your way up and watch the plants close and they will tell you if they are happy or not..lol
