Seed Stockers BWM’s Rolling Seedstockers Grow

I think tha you should be able to get them well into bloom. Should give you enough time to find something to finish with if necessary.
Thanks, maybe if shipping isn’t too crazy I’ll get more. I’m going to check it out anyway......

Time for a little update, things are growing again. Not sure if this is too much nutes or a deficiency of some kind? Yellowing leaf tips but I think I might chance a plain watering and see how I go. I’m changing things ever so slowly as I know from experience I won’t see changes straight away. Any suggestions are welcome as always, new seeds have pushed up through the dirt and are coming to life. Say hello to Santa Marta Haze........Sticky fingers to follow!

growing plants is a nightmare, like so many things and their opposites look the same.like the droop from too much or too little water.
to me burnt tips are brownish, these tips look yellow.lights camera flash monitors can play tricks with our pics.the overal greenness of the plant is on the lighter side,so id be more inclined to think give it more juice :coffee:
but as allways im an eejit wait on 4th opinion :pass:

Cheers for dropping in @archie gemmill, hope you are well. I have another plant at the back of the tent, it’s super green but with the same yellowing tips. Too much light perhaps? I love this light but damn it’s so much different to the meizhi I was using, gives off a lot more heat too. I’m almost tempted to remove the optics to reduce the intensity and heat. I could maybe gain another 4” in height if I’m savvy. I’m really struggling to keep everything in the optimal ranges in this grow. I dunno? I’ll have to roll a fat rocket and contemplate my future on this planet as a man. If this don’t give me a big harvest I’m buying all pink tea cups and changing my name to Sandra. On the upside......everything IS growing again!

Too much a light is a super squat plant with 5mm between nodes.Too strong a light almost like heat stress canoo taco leaves.Too close to light, light bleached buds.
so theres too much, too strong, too close ? but isnt them 3 things the same thing ? to me i dont asscociate greenness with light strengnth, power, intensitity or height from plant.removing optics could effect the light beam angles 0/90/120. i think the light is doing a fine job.
if that was my plant id probably not notice tips, stick it back in the cupboard and think everything was fine and dandy :pass:

Cheers @archie gemmill, Maybe I’m just being over critical but do these upper leaves look slightly canoe - e to you? They are almost a v kinda shape, not flat like the larger fan leaf just to the left.

Hi BMW !!! I'm curious to why you switched from your Meizhi LED to your current light (unknown) ? I'm wondering because I just purchased 2 - 600 watt Meizhi lights. I'm hoping these lights are good enough after reading your post. They seem to be working a whole lot better then the cheapo LED's I used prior.
*** Warning about cheapo lights.... 2 of the 4 cheapo light switches quit working about a month after purchasing them. I opened them up & the back side of the switches were completely melted & wires burnt black. Lucky I didn't burn the house down. All 4 of those lights went in the trash the next day. Moral of the story ... Don't buy cheap lights & if you do ... buy a fire extinguisher & put a smoke detector in your grow room !!!***
Anyway, what lights are you using now ? Why did you change ? I feel I can never learn enough so just looking to gain more knowledge. I'm hoping to purchase some Advance Platinum Lights in the near future as I've heard they are really good.

Hi, thanks for dropping by @Buds Buddy, first off, nothing wrong with the meizhi lights. They are good lights and I’m sure you’ll do well with them. My first light was a meizhi 400w reflector series which usually costs around £70 as I’m sure you know already.
I was (and still am) on a budget so I opted to buy bigger, better extraction and filter instead of pumping my tent full of lights........I was going to add another of these lights when I got a bit more cash so I could use the full area in my tent at a later date. Anyway, Using the light on my first grow I didn’t see much happen in the way of growth lower down on my first plant despite having it pretty close at times so I started to read more on the subject.......
Let’s get down to it, basically what I found was the cobs have greater canopy penetration whilst (some) of the other types of led are quite poor in this area. That’s why I opted to change to a cob light. The difference is quite incredible really. I now have lots of lower growth and therefore more budsites but it does present new challenges such as controlling heat (if your tent is in an already warm part of the house) and height issues depending on how tell your plants get. The intensity of the light is extreme compared to my previous light and even with it sitting at the very top of my tent I’ve been struggling to get the little ladies to stretch a bit. This wouldn’t be a problem with the meizhi though.......
So, that’s why I changed my lighting, I wanted nice, bushy plants that will yield me more/bigger bud sites lower down and lots of leaves so I get more material for cannabutter and the like. Everyone’s situation will be different though so I guess it’s just what you expect to achieve from your grow. I opted for the hipargero 800w light and, tbh the build quality is just as good as the meizhi even though it’s quite inexpensive. I have no regrets, it’s a good light for the money.
Also, with cobs you tend to get more/stronger light for the same watts which means you are paying less electricity for more light if that makes sense??
Anyway, good luck with your grow, your meizhi lights will do just fine!
