Yeah these are gravity bong hits in my neck of the woods. I used to gravity bong every single day for 2 years. Gave me the ability to spit black-tar loogies across a room from 20 paces. It is an extreme way to get blasted but not for the faint of heart. This device has caused more vomiting than I've ever seen from any other smoking method out there lol.

We used to make a dry version of it we call "the lung." You'd cut out the bottom of a two liter bottle just like the gravity bong, but then tape a plastic sack from the grocery store on the bottom of it, so if you blow into the top of the bottle, it balloons the bag outward. Stuff the bag inside the bottle, put on the bottle cap retrofitted with the bowl, light the weed while at the same time pulling the sack out of the bottle. As you pull the sack, the air pressure just sucks air in through teh bowl chamber and fills the entire 2 liter (plus sack) full of disgusting white, then yellow, then some dark nasty brown color of smokey disgustingness.

Fun when you're 20. I don't think I have a friend now that would touch the thing lol!

Yes I've hit many gravity bongs, we've made them from 2 liters, all the way to 5 gallon water bottles, so much smoke it makes you puke from coughing lol.

The second time that I ever smoked was this way. One hit and the next thing I know I'm waking up at a friend's house to a dog kicking my face and strangers speaking Spanish. Extremely effective and efficient.

Funny...my nephew and his buddies were in a state on anti gravity using a gravity bong.

Canna smoking is like fashion...it never goes out of style....it all comes back...never throw away those old suits.
