Hi all

Problem: Browning Lower leaves. Moving to Top leaves as well

Medium/grow method: 90/10 Coco Perlite

Feed: and supplements used: EHG Nutrient Coco Mix

water source: Tap

Strain/age: 3.5 weeks

light used: 600w unbranded light

Climate: Indoor

My plants are going on 4 weeks now.
This is my 3rd grow and my first indoor grow.

Basically the tips are browning on the 1 plant and starting to brown on another.

I am using EHG Nutrients.

I cant figure out if its nutrient burn or if its a deficiency.
I doubt its burn as it started when I was feeding close to no nutrients and continues to get worse when I upped the nutes.

I am feeding tap water as the PH is 6.1 after adding in Nutes. RO water is way too expensive

Any advice what it could be?

My current schedule is :
10ml Micro
20ml Grow
per 10L

Any help would be much appreciated.

Remove any leaves that are touching the soil. What is EHG and is your feeding dose per gal? Also what lights are you using?

So I believe I found the problem.
There was a nute lockout due to PH.

I got a tester today and after adding nutes, PH was reading 7.2.

I lowered to 5.6 using 3ml (per 10L) of grape vinegar

that nute is phos, here is target range................ make sure your root matrix is 22-24c, and air lights out and on is 26-28c..........these are tropical plants !!................... ensure plant dries right out once a week.......... and Ec run off is below 2.0........................ALR

cocco is very alkaline in it make up, as the fibres hold a massive reserve of calcium......... your plants are sensitive to the high Ph value of the "New" cocco................. you cannot flush the cocco Ph down either,............ as it leads to liberation of stacks of alkaline calcium, rocketing Ph even further...................some plants strains can take the early alkaline environment.........other strains hate it.................

you can only adjust Ph up or down in soil mediums...................... as your plants are not alkaline tolerant, you will suffer early period stunting, which will deliver smaller outcomes, than soil.................. just is one of the drawbacks of cheap grow mediums................ cocco delivers little flavor to the flower either,............ALR
