Breeding projects: First up, Azure Duck!

Hey @pop22

Your work with ducksfoot has inspired me. I've bought Wally Ducksfoot, Frisian Duck and have some Auto Duck in route. I plan to play around with the strains this spring outdoors. While doing my due diligence researching ducksfoot, I ran into another strain that morphed into a webbed leaf pattern, "Hawaiian Webbed Indica." I can't find much info on it and was wondering if you've any information regarding the strain. Have you heard of it?

Lot of debate over that Hawaiian don't know the real story. I also read just days ago, that it may no longer exist. You've got yourself a nice collection, do some cross breeding!

CHOP DAY!

All but one plant got the axe today! The one left looks pretty green still, and no seed bursting the calyx yet, I'll give her another week, besides, gives me an excuse not to move my Christmas Cactus ( Thats blooming!! ), my tomato plant, or my pineapple lol! Several ripe seeds fell from the buds as I trimmed them! Should have a lot of seed!

Don't mess with the cactus! Ive been so far behind pop, ive just got back to this thread.
Hope you got all the seed you need.

I also had 2 pure Ducksfoot I back crossed with Azure Duck, there's another maybe 1000 - 1500 seeds.

Hi @pop22
i am back to follow your projects. Good you got some pure duckfoot seeds. With your cross you got enough seeds to grow as much as you can for the next generation.
With the f2 i would do a multi grow (three seeds per pot and hole ) i let only one plant pro pot survive, to select stronger plants.
Think about it, its a good tool for a serious breeding program with small space.
