They won't hire you as a prognosticator because of how silly you look in a hat ... View attachment 683170

It's too bad the board doesn't allow action avatars; I picked that one when I was scoping out the bud porn here for an hour or two...

Sorry guys; hit a busy patch in life and managed to miss a week of photos. Here's where we stand now...

Blackberry Kush (Day 76): Better say goodbye to this one; I'll put her back in the tent tonight, but I guarantee the next time you see her, she'll be hanging...

Daiquiri Lime (Day 76)
: This one's still got time to go, but it also has some serious buddage...

Lemon OG Kush (Day 77): This one's got tons of time left; and I've got to wonder how much more food is in that airpot...

Grape Crinkle (Day 69): Not as close as the Blackberry Kush, but pretty darn close.

By the way, all of these strains are first time grows to me, so I don't know if it's the Kind Soil or the strains, but this the smelliest grow I've had. And no, that's not a complaint!

A last shot of the Grape Crinkle before harvest...

Total wet weight was 98.0 grams. NOT a Mephisto harvest like I'm used to. Yeah, it was a lousy grow, but look at my previous grows; I'm a lousy farmer. This reminds me of the grow where I started the flowering nutes too early: lotsa little buds, very little of size. This makes me wonder if I wouldn't rather have the control of adding nutes rather than doing the organic thing. I'm committed on the next grow; that'll be the test for me, as I'll be growing a strain I've grown before. And hopefully skipping my heat stress experiments...

The Blackberry Kush went down on Tuesday and was worse, but I expected that with the broken top and all. It's strange...when I broke the top off of the BBK, it just stopped. When the same happened to the Daiquiri Lime, it exploded like it was a great training technique. Probably when and where the break occurred.

Time for another update. Two plants remain...

Daiquiri Lime (Day 84): This one's ready to go, except I want those darned pistils to collapse/retract/whatever. Otherwise it looks done. And crystally as all get out.

Lemon OG Kush (Day 85): She may actually hang on long enough; keep your fingers crossed!

The Grape Crinkle is jarred up. About twenty grams, but if we talk REAL grams (not the 'too smalls') it was 9.8 grams. I've grown enough Mephisto strains to know that's bullshit. On the other hand, they weren't kidding about the smell being more intense, at least in my case. I just hang my buds out in the open; the smell always comes back after a couple of weeks in the jar. This time it never went away. Good thing I'm a semi-hermit. However, it's making me think about the next grow, since I already have the Kind Soil to do it. Maybe just pinch off all the lower bud sites and try for just a few biggies. We'll see.

all looks fab dude, those ladys are so nearly there, a few days. Are you going by trics or yellow of the leaves or both ? ...this is part I'm have no idea what to look for, I just guess.

When I started, I looked at the trics. Now, I just wait until my brain says, "that bud looks like it belongs in a jar". I'm just glad to be past "the jars empty; it's done!".

This is the part where I think years of growing comes in, knowing how to read those signs properly to time it bang on for the effect your after... but your right the "that bud looks like it belongs in a jar" method will do for now.
