So I'm just filled a jar with freshly dried, trimmed bud. Meter in jar is reading 54% RH.. the meter isn't off I did a test to make sure it's accurate. Question is can i add a bovida pack in now so while it cures it doesn't get to dry.. I must have let get to dry obviously so now I want to fix issue before I wreck my first ever harvest.

Yes you can add a boveda and your buds will absorb the extra moisture. Might not get you up a bunch but should get you closer to 58%. It will take awhile though so don't expect any sudden improvement. You're not too far off at 54% so it won't be wrecked just maybe a tad harsh.

Could also use a piece of lettuce, orange peels or a fresh fan leaf in place of the boveda. Just not as controlled obviously.

Dropped in two 62%ers and going to be patient. Figure atleast a month for sure.

Can I freeze a whole plant with plans on sifting the whole thing for keef at a later date? One foxtailed so bad that I'm not going to smoke it.. would be an absolute stemfest..

The bovedas will get your humidity back up in a day or 2. I freeze the bottom half of plants for hash regularly, so you can do it but it does take a plan and some equipment. Freezing dried plants or freezing live plants is totally different plans

Mind sharing your process? First timer here

Sure. You planning on drying the whole plant or fresh freezing? Just a trim bin will do fine if you're drying, but you're gonna need some tools and a plan if you're gonna go fresh frozen. If you're close to harvest without a plan, just dry and trim the buds so they look how you want, and make some dank ass edibles with the trim

I love Boveda packs. Used them for years with cigars. I trusted several hundred dollars worth of tobacco to Boveda. I do find they they raise and hold rh better than bringing it down. Let them sit for a while as they don't work overnight but they do work. I would expect the rh to be 1-2% below what the pack states. Just in my experience they are always slightly below stated number. Their calibration kit/bags are dead on and I would use them to reference point any hygrometer out there.

They make several sizes of pack so match the pack to the jar size. Or you can drop a couple of the small packs into one jar. I would advise ordering direct from their website. Guaranteed to get the right product and they typically have up to date stock available unlike Amazon vendors who will sell you a product that ships in 6-10000 weeks.

It's dry already.. want to freeze so it doesn't over dry and can't trim this plant cuz it foxtailed so bad it would be impossible to trim.. pic of it below. I have other plants to trim and jar up yet so want to freeze foxtailed one to save so I can make bubble hash or whatever later.
