Just a quick update. 2019 is the year of problems but ill remain optimistic for me ive overcame them all so far so maybe 2019 is the year of conquering? Lol..now its gnats. Got fly tape im about to get set up and the. If i need to water with peroxide i will. The g14 is now 8 weeks old and is on water only. I expect most of her to be done in 2 weeks or so. If she isnt shes plenty green for water only for a bit. I also decided to do a photo comparison 7 days ago and now of the 2 cream mandarines the one in 2gallon i prolly should transplant lol but im afraid. G14 i cant wait ive been out for a bit now.

6 fly tape traps and patience. Its a bad day to be a fly. I went ahead and watered my 2 gallon nursery with peroxide last night as well. With them big holes in the side had a few gnats on the roots. Seemed to work fine.

Any help id aplreciate. Maybe im doing all i can do and id like to thank @bhaskara_phoenix for suggesting wine. So far i just added it and got one gnat... however i got an infestation going on. Ive killed over 200... i should caught it sooner when i judt seen a couple and let it be. These suckers lay 200 eggs a week in the top of the soil! Ive killed over 200 so far. Fuckin fungus hydras. Thats one of the 5 fly tapes now inside my tent.

Sorry to hear about the gnat invasion, Boog. I have read that by allowing the top soil to dry out, it will kill most of them. Also recommend spraying néem oil in the soil, as an additional measure.

Thanks a bunch Do you have a recommended amount of neem oil to use? Just mix with water and saturate the top layer?

So gnats suck real bad, sorry youre fightin em off!
Ive had a few here and there currently but had a terrible infestation on one of my last plants.
So i tried to attack em on a couple different fronts. The flying gnats dont do any damage they just lay eggs, its the larvae that eat the roots and mess em up so its not enough to just catch the flyers. We need to nuke the eggs and larvae under the soil as well as catch the flying gonads.
First i watered heavy for 2-3 days with h2o2 to start killing some eggs and such.
In between waterings i drench all the soil with the neem spray, top, sides, i even sprayed my watering tray real good so the bottoms would get coated a bit.
I used a premixed neem/fungicide/miticide spray off some prime online retailer.
I also laid down sticky traps to catch the adults.
This seemed to break the cycle for me, took about a solid week.
I hope you can get em under control, theyre sh!tty lil bastards!
