This will be my Journal for the "Bomb Seeds" THC Bomb Auto - Frogster Grow.

A big thank you to Bomb Seeds for providing the test seed

This is one of four plants I will be growing in the 2019 Round-1 Grow Battles.

To be included in the following Grow Battles:-

The "THC Bomb Auto" will be sharing a tent with the 3 other plants also entered into the 2019 grow battles.

The seed was placed into a shot glass for a soak on the 18 Jan 2019

The seed has cracked and is ready to be planted into a starter pot, this will be completed tomorrow.

For this grow I have made a few upgrades to my standard tent setup, I am still finalising the wiring and control system (photo to follow on completion - tomorrow), but will consist of the following:-​

Update

I have just about finished the set up of the tent and systems that are going to be used in this grow.

Not installed all 8 cobs yet, as they are not required for seedling growth.

The system has been tested and appears to run fine.

Tent Temp & Rh are holding true, so time to pot up the seeds that have been soaking into starter pots and get them in the tent.

First seed not looking as good as I would like, hence seed number 2 sown.

Update 30/01/2019

Both "THC Bomb" seeds that I planted as backups after the first "No Show Seed" have germinated.

The first backup seed sown (left in photo below) has just raised her head, looking a little sad, but we will see.....

The second backup seed has also geminated (bottom left in group photo below), She is looking better.... But early days yet.

Water with a tad of "Root Excelsior" & "Mammoth P" added

Update Day 1

I am calling this Day 1 (easy to remember - Feb 1st), although the seeds showed their heads above ground around the 30th Jan

Today I transferred some of the baby seedlings, including a THC Bomb, into their final autopot setups.

From here in, this grow journal posts and photos will be mainly restricted to my Bomb Seeds grow (and battle),

The other plants I am growing in the same tent, alongside this grow (Autoseeds, Zamnesia & Seedstockers), can be found in their respective Seed Banks areas.

However, there may be the need for some group or tent shots now and again.

I am growing under Autocobs, and at present have 1 over each seedling potted up.

Here is one of the group shots I was talking about.... to demonstrate setup etc

I am using the Pulse unit to monitor this grow, as it was very successful my last grow.

Current conditions & environment

Soil:- Canna Pro Plus with added Perlite, Pebbles, Charge & Microhaze

Feed:- Ph'd Tap Water with a dash of Roots Excelsior & Mammoth P

Environment:- Grow tent, Temp 26c(ish), Rh 60%(ish)


I have another THC Bomb, still germinating, that will be transplanted to a final pot later (all being well).

For the next few days the lights will be on 24/0, but will be changing to 20/4 later.

Calling out to @CannaZone Tier 1 as some may have missed this and be interested (still a few seats left)

Update Day 3

I had planted a THC Bomb backup seed, as I wasn't sure about the original seedling.

I needn't have worried, as the first seeding is looking fine after her transplant into her final Autopotpot.

However, the Back up seed has sprouted..... but not a normal plant...

I have Twins !

I have heard about this phenomenon happening, but it is rare.

They were very close together on sprouting, so I separated the stems apart a little on re-potting, they now have a little space between them.

Not holding out a lot of hope to mature both in one pot, I may have to kill off the weakest as we progress.

Twins is a first for me, going to be interesting to see how this develops.

Wow - that is very interesting. I would say that you get about 1 in approx 10,000 twinning. Go out and buy yourself a Lottery Ticket!!
