Hey Friends,

No special update or anything. Been feeding these ladies the remainder of the tea I made, these last few days...

Growth has stopped completely and one can notice these ladies are finishing up before winter comes

Opening the tent is always an amazing experience. The terpenes are sweet and vanilla like...Except when I brush against the stems, then a more lemony smell is released. The two don't match, but experience tells us that the lemony terps will go away with drying and curing.

Frost is building up nicely on these girls... Yum!!

This one in the back is the worst. She's also the largest of the group and is sitting very close to the light. None the less she's producing some very nice buds, even with the load of crispy leaves she already has.

And the girls in the middle of the tray, the 'Small' pheno plants, are recovering fine from the K-def. These are also expanding more rapidly then the larger pheno ladies, resembling a bud on a stick

While some of the larger pheno ladies will be ready in approx. one to two weeks, these smaller pheno's will most likely need a week more, looking at those pistils...What do you think @Sawney_bean?

The values inside the tent are also very stable and the last two days or so I didn't had to adjust the extraction, even after watering the ladies.
Ok, I don't water as much and rather water every day a little then do one large soaking every two days out of easy, like when they were in full growth. So today I gave them about 1L tea divided over these 15 pots...

I've also got my handy usb hand scope out and took some shots to see where we are at...

Loads of cloudy trichomes already...

Some ladies are further along then others. I know who is who, so I'll be monitoring them closely.

I do like the couchlock feeling, so I won't be harvesting most before I see them ambers appearing.

But some will get pulled early as I have a need for medicine.

Luckily for me, some ladies are at least a week ahead of the others, so I'll be in the opportunity to do just that!

Now that the cat is out of tha bag, I must say...The branch I took and left to dry on top of the tent is just AMAAAAAAZING!!!
The buds are perfectly dry, but when you try to crush them between your fingers it's like you are squeezing out a sponge and you are left over with oily sticky fingers! As soon as I've harvested and dried the lot, I'm gonna squeeze me some rosin out of it! I think I should prepare myself for when that day comes as I could barely finish the joint I rolled today when I got home from work. Took me until now to open up the laptop and get on the forum...

@Sawney_bean, I can tell you I really like the flavor profile of the larger pheno. Super frosty buds, me like it A LOT!! And the high is just, pffff...Oh boy!!

This is one of the small pheno ladies and she's gonna need another 10 day's to two weeks I think. These buds still have some expanding to do!

Just back from the tent and I can tells ya, we're getting very close now...I can almost taste it...Actually I can, lol

The pistils are turning a lovely yellow, just before they start to dry up and turn bright orange.

The smell that's being emitted when I'm sitting infront of my ladies is overwhelming. Sweet, so sweet my lovely's ♥

One of the lowest buds. When I saw that frost, I just couldn't remove that little flowercluster.

A look beneath their skirts shows a whole lot of thick budsites. Let's keep ourcrossed, they turn out to be thick rockhard buds

One of the smaller pheno girls. Even though she looks less frosty then her larger sisters do, this couldn't be farther from the truth. Beneath those relative healthy leaves lie a plethora of pistils, each set growing out of it's calyx. These still have some expanding to do, but you can already see that these are covered with trichomes.

Gonna leave these ladies alone for tonight and close up shop.

Just one thing todo and that is change a couple of values ever so slightly. Adjusted the extraction fan from 10 to 12%, that's it...
The light is still running at 45%, this isn't only very price efficient, but the plants are responding better to this amount of light then when it was at a higher output. co² is also running at a raised value, which is great because I absolutely have no work with this system for the moment.
VPD is just where I want it, sitting steady at 1.33. I need the humidity to be below 58% as this will completely prevent mold from forming.

Hey Friends

These ladies are really full of trichomes... Shut off the lights and took some flash photo's to show off these pretties...

Think I'll be able to fill a jar or two with these buds...

Exactly what I had in mind when I dreamt of this grow. A real Sea Of Trichomes...

I was curious about the state of the trichomes on some of girls I deemed almost ready...

...and we're getting there. Slowly, very slowly...But all things good and worthy take their time. So, we wait a little more and treat these girls to another dose of the PK Booster Compost tea. Still got plenty left over in the bucket, so I'll leave the airhose, added some more Orgatrex (about 20ml) and let it run until tomorrow evening. Which will be about 32 hours after their dose of today.

While at it, I also took out one of the less ready girls and that's why the following trichome shots have a bit more clear in them.

To end today's post I have an extra long time lapse for you guys/gals
Duration = 126 hours, speed = 60pfs. You can barely see the ladies move anymore, they have stopped putting energy into growth and divert everything into ripening those calyx's

They're getting closer...

White pistils are turnin yellow and orange...

Been feeding these girls everyday with a mix of PK Booster Compost tea, Orgatrex and Bio PK 5-8.

Each pot receives about 100-150ml of the tea. It's really stinking up my study while it's brewing, but it works wonders on the plants!! How I see it now, I can keep using it until the day I harvest. The secret is to not overdo it. Let me explain...

Both the PK Booster Compost tea and Bio PK 5-8 are Flowering nutrients. So while I prefer to use them both because of their synergetic workings, one does have to take the nutrient value into account. I'm still using the same recipe as before, but dilute the mix with 15L of water in total. This ensures me that I have a constant supply of the right bacteria in a well balanced nutrient solution.

"We don't grow leaves" is the best thing I've read in a long time. I feel this surely applies to these ladies. Have a look at the buds forming on this one...

Pistils dried up and shriveled away on this one...Not long anymore.

Mmmmhmmmm...Big fat bud..

Didn't think it would take that long, but once I go over 60fps, compiling takes a whole lot of time...lol. Computer's been at it for three hours or so...
Anyway, today's time lapse is a weeks worth of pictures at a mind melting 120fps!! If you look carefully you see the plants expand, but ever so slowly. Those last bit's way the heaviest, don't they

Leaves you say... Gonna have to spend some time on the trimming stool, but look what's hidden below that!

Thick buds await my newly bought @Marshydro's drying rack.

Chockfull with glistening trichomes...

Let's zoom in a bit...Some plants definitely are showing that their window is opening very soon...

These are mostly the larger pheno girls that are showing their readiness.

Also the purple in the background is just plain gorgeous...

The smaller pheno girls are, as expected, a bit behind on their larger sisters, but not to worry...

...We've got this under control

Unless they decide to grow upon each other, there's not much room for anymore trichomes to grow

The larger pheno girls are almost there... I'll probably harvest these this weekend.

The other girls will need a week longer.

Hey Friends,
Today some of the larger ladies were calling me... "♪♪ Bob... ♫ I'm ready... ♫ "

So I removed the upper part of these ladies and leveled the entire canopy by doing so

While trimming one of the branches I found something remarkable!!
A small blob of rosin was oozing out of a flower... And how do I know it's rosin, just ask me. Hehehe hehehe Yup, carefully removed that blob with the scissors and heated that with a flame and hit it ol' school, like we used to do with hash...Oh, those were the day's ♥
I do have a sharper picture, but my fingerprint is on it as well, so no thank you very much

The remainder of the ladies are looking scrumptious and the amount of trichomes is just ridiculous!!

I installed a catch basin on the lowest tier in my @Marshydro 4-Layer drying rack, made out of packing paper, so I could catch all those little trichomes that come tumbling down the layers above. Looking at these buds, that's not an unnecessary luxury

Now that the upper parts are gone, the canopy looks brand new again. All these lowers have become the uppers and with the root system below calculated for a much larger plant, I think these will expand in the coming week (or two)?

Just look at those trichomes!!! Both sides!!! Tasty trichomes, yum!!

These girls look leafy, but the trimming of those four or five branches took me about thirty minutes...There's so much trichomes, I'm only removing the fanleaves which stem I can reach and cut. The others I just trim the tips away. I'm not picky, but those trichomes will make me some nice medicine!

So many trichomes and rock hard buds, but as you can see...She's still pushing out pistils. I don't care, you go girls.
Until I receive @Antonio_DutchPassion's envelope they can remain in the tent and ripen some more. I do love me some ambers as this is great night medicine.
